(Lee turns to Anthony as they walk down the street.)

Lee: Why do you get to go, anyway? She's not even your friend.

Anthony: Oh, what are you gonna do if anything kicks off? You're in no state to be scrapping, are you?

Lee: I'll be all right!

Anthony: Oh yeah, course you will, soft lad! Tough tits I'm afraid, though, our kid. I'm going to Paris; not you.

Lee: Yeah, well, actually, Toe, I don't think it's your decision. I mean, you don't even really know the others. And I think they think you are a little bit weird!

Anthony: (Turns the camera on himself.) What, they think I'm weird? Hey, that's a bit rich init, coming from them freaks.

Lee: Why do you wanna go to France anyway?

Anthony: Uh, no reason. Just love the frogs, don't I?

Lee: Is it because you fancy Lauren?

Anthony: Oh, get on; no way son. Had much better in my time.

Lee: Oh, aye, yeah.

Anthony: I'm not discussing it, kid! You're not going!

Charlie: Hey!

(The camera pans backs to see Charlie, Lauren, and Sophie following Anthony and Lee.)

Charlie: Who made you the boss, toad?

Anthony: Ooh!

Charlie: No I'm being serious, it's my car.

Sophie: Well, maybe he's right. Lee could do with a break.

Lee: Alright, alright.

Sophie: And if he stays here, then I can look after him.

Lauren: Oh, please!

Lee: Oh, yeah! Well, then, maybe-maybe I could do with a little bit of a rest. You know, before I go fighting evil again.

Charlie: Oh, whatever.

Lee: Oh, no, I just thought! You've had your passport taken off you haven't you?

Charlie: Oh, shame! That means you're gonna have to come instead!

Anthony: Don't be daft. I'll just take his init! Same face, remember?

Lauren: Why are you so desperate to come, anyway?

Anthony: Jesus, you lot are suspicious, aren't you? Just fancy a holiday, that's all. And if I can give a bit of a kicking to a scumbag, wife-beating bastard while I'm at it, then all the better. And you need me to take care of you all, don't ya?

(Anthony attempts to put his arm around Lauren, which she quickly pushes away.)

Lauren: Get off me, you tramp.

Charlie: God, okay. Right. Toe, you can come, it's fine. Right, but you, Lee, if you're gonna stay you have to promise me that you go back to Sophie's place, it's not safe for you to come back to the flat.

Lee: Yeah, well, yeah, if that's okay with Sophie!

Sophie: Yeah, course!

Charlie: Nice one.

(Cut to a shot of a bus passing nearby. Cut to Sophie.)

Sophie: Oh, that's our bus! C'mon!

Lee: Okay, bye!

(Sophie grabs Lee's hand and pulls him toward the bus.)

Sophie:' Bye!

Charlie: See you!

(Lee and Sophie run to the bus. Cut to the bus pulling away.)

Charlie: Alright, let's go.

(Cut to Charlie driving. They pull up outside Steve's flat, where he is seen talking to a man. Anthony zooms in.)

Lauren: Who's that Steve's talking to?

Charlie: I don't know, I- I can't see.

(The man grabs Steve's arm as Steve starts for the car. The man says a final sentence to Steve and walks away. Cut to Steve walking to the car. He gets into the backseat.)

Charlie: Who was that guy you were talking to before?

Steve: What?

Charlie: That guy you were talking to before outside your house.

Steve: Oh, no one; it's just a neighbour.

(Charlie looks at the camera and begins driving. Steve smiles. Cut to Charlie driving through downtown London. Cut to Charlie looking nervously in the rear-view mirror.)

Charlie: Is that car following us?

(Steve and the camera look behind the car.)

Steve: I think you're being paranoid, Charlie.

(The camera zooms in on a car behind the Aygo.)

Charlie: No, I think he's been tailing us for the last fifteen minutes.

Steve: Look, take the next left then.

Charlie: Yep.

(Charlie nervously watches the rear-view mirror as she turns left. The car behind them turns, as well.)

Steve: Oh... He's following us.

Charlie: Oh shit, is he?

Steve: It's okay. Okay. stay calm.

Charlie: Oh, I don't know what to do.

Steve: Stay calm.

(Charlie brakes suddenly.)

Steve: Jesus...

Charlie: Shit.

(The camera pans up to see Terrence in front of the car.)

Charlie: Oh my god...

Terrence: Watch where you're going!

Charlie: Wha--

Steve: That's Terrence.

Charlie: Oh my god!

(Terrence grins as he notices Lauren. Michelle Clore's Shadow appears and punches Terrence.)

Steve: Shit.

Lauren:' What the fuck?

(Terrence gets up with a bloody nose. The Shadow punches him again.)

Charlie: No...

Lauren: Charlie, go.

Steve: Go! Go!

Lauren: Go now!

Steve: Go!

(Charlie whimpers as she drives away.)

Notes
