Molly was a character that was going to be introduced in the New Girl Story Arc. However, the actress pulled out of the project, and The Creators decided to use the videos that Amanda Goodfried had made with her sister Shannon Solomon when she was visiting.
From what we have been told, Molly was a redheaded girl who was meek and plain, and was also trait positive. Sarah was originally going to be her sister. The storyline would end with Molly's death, and Sarah joining the resistance to avenge her sister's death.
