This rose is a subject of debate in the boards and fans have proposed many possible explanations, ranging from superficial to literary, from plausible to highly speculative.  One user pointed out that when roses wilt, they do not bend over like other flowers do, so this one was intentionally bent - though it could have been accidentally bent by some carelessness.  One theory is that it was placed like that to draw viewers' attention to the rose and its sad state.
