Secrets in the Closet is the five-hundred sixth video in the lonelygirl15 video series. It is also the ninety-sixth video of season three.

Transcript

(Emma scans one of the bedrooms, which has been trashed)

Emma: Well, it's not what you think. It wasn't the Order; (on camera) it was Jonas and Daniel. They've been going through every inch of the house, looking for some (shakes head in disbelief) bugging device. I dunno. I mean, Carl's been a guest in the house many times. So, he could have planted a bug, or gone through our stuff at any time. Jonas is certain that we're being watched.

(a loud thud is heard from the other room and Emma goes to investigate. She walks into the living room where Jonas is standing on a chair checking the ceiling fan.')

Daniel: Anything?

Jonas: Nope. But look carefully, though, 'cause those things tend to be tiny.

(Jonas steps down from inspecting fan)

Emma: (off camera) Don't you think this is enough, guys?

Jonas: Since when do you know me to take chances?

Emma: (off camera; Jonas inspects chair) Well, this is the third time you've gone over the living room.

Daniel: Uh, (camera turns to him; holds up four fingers; inspecting cabinets in kitchen) fourth.

Sarah: Guys, (Sarah walks around the corner hurriedly) get your computer. Now.

(cuts to Jonas sitting on the couch with a pillow on his lap. Camera pans to Daniel and Sarah sitting on a chair. Daniel embraces Sarah from behind and comforts her. Emma turns the camera to herself)

Emma: Sarah went to see Carl to make a final plea for him to talk. But when she got to the station, um...Carl... Okay, um, actually, you know what? You guys should just see this for yourselves. Here's the local news report that's been airing.

(scene cuts to news report. Banner at bottom reads "BREAKING NEWS," "8," and "BETH TURNER.")

Beth: This is Beth Turner reporting live from the Sacred Spirit offices. The Sacred Spirit scandal took another shocking turn today. One of the organizations highest ranking employee is dead. Officials say (cuts to image of Carl) Carl Adams, former co-president of Sacred Spirit, (shows Sacred Spirit's MySpace page) hung himself while in his jail cell last night, while awaiting arraignment. (cuts back to Beth) This is the second suicide affiliated with the group. Just last week, prominent professional candidate (shows Salinas' web page) Edward Salinas, took his own life (back to Beth with small window on right showing Salinas) after media outlets exposed his involvement with embezzlement scheme (Salinas' picture is removed) linked to the charities finances. Though foul play was initially suspected, authorities confirmed these two deaths as coincidental.

(cuts to Emma in living room)

Emma: It's like the Order's cleaning up its mistakes. I mean, killing anyone is bringing attention to their cause.

(scene changes to Emma walking into a Gina's room; off camera. Jonas is emptying a closet)

Emma: That's enough! Jonas, (Emma grabs a box away from Jonas) stop! Please. Jonas, I said, "stop!" (Jonas throws a pillow violently onto the floor) Look at you--Look at what you're doing to her things! You're destroying her memory!

Jonas: Something is happening, Emma. First Salinas, now Carl? That Michelle Clore, the elder from London. They're all suicides? Come on. No! They're cleaning up. You know, (throws a small wallet forcefully) if the Order decides to go underground, we could lose our only shot at Carruthers.

Emma: Wha-plea--I said, "stop it!" That's enough!

(Jonas turns over closet's carpet)

Jonas: Whoa. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.

Emma: (angrily) What?

Jonas: (picks up folder with papers inside) What the hell is this?

Emma: I dunno.

Daniel: (off camera) Found something! (on camera) They weren't just buggin' us; I found a hidden camera.

(camera turns to Jonas, in which he quickly jumps up with folder)
