Transcript
(Gavin walks on the plaza in front of the new flat, whistling. He sits on a nearby bench and swings the camera around to show the scenery. He sighs and turns the camera on himself.)
Gavin: Ah, life on the old rock and roll, eh? Nothing really much to do except watch the online catfight between Charlie and Jules. Have you been watching it? (Laughs.) Looks like the fur is really flying. Nice. It's even worse than me and Captain Cult boy last week. I'm not complaining, though; nothing quite like a girly catfight. I like it.
Jules's wedding should be a laugh, too. I don't reckon them Hymn of One-ers really know how to party. Rock! Hmm. An-and Charlie, I- I think you should- think you should reconsider. I really you should come with me. Come on, it'll be hilarious. You don't wanna miss Jules condemning herself to a life of boredom forever, do you? You know, you could even be my date. I can't see Steve going, after everything that's happened, and, to tell you the truth, I don't reckon I'll be copping off with any Hymn of One bridesmaids. Oh, come on. It'll be- it'll be great. We can go and get pissed and watch those abstinent freaks losing their minds. (Laughs.)
Ah, Leopold! Hello, sir!
(Gavin turns the camera to see Lee approaching.)
Lee: Hello! You ready to go to the Job Centre?
Gavin: I was born ready, mate. You know that.
Lee: Good. 'Cause I really need a job quick sharp. I can't even afford a wedding present for Julia and Rupert.
Gavin: Sod that. My attendance is gift enough. (Gets up.)
Lee: I don't think my attendance is gonna be that valuable. Hey! I've got a really good idea!
Gavin: Oh, here we go...
Lee: No, right? Right? Why don't we go into the wedding video business?
Gavin: Oh my god, you're a genius!
Lee: What, really?
Gavin: No, you tool. (Smacks Lee on the head.) Come on.
