Michelle Christine Kocee, known professionally as Shelby Kocee is the actress who played Claire in the lonelygirl15 webseries. Born in San Jose, California, Shelby attended the Los Angeles Theatre Academy from 2003 - 2005. While in school, she was in various student films and appeared in Murrieta Playhouse's performances of "The Crucible," "Stefanie Hero," and "The Fantasticks."
After graduating, Shelby became a member of New Hollywood Stars and hosted an open call event in Texas [1] in January 2007. She has also had roles as an Actress in "Man of a Thousand Faces" and as Liz in "The Serious Business of Happiness."
