Jack: (pacing back and forth behind a chair, face off-camera) Something really weird just happened. And…

(sits; face is visible, his clothes are torn and nose bleeding) it’s not this. Well, it’s kinda this. I don’t remember how I got here. Seriously, this is messed up! Like 5 minutes ago, I was getting the shit beat out of me by Aaron and his friends right outside of school. I was thinking about home… and now I’m here.

I don’t remember anything in between. I don’t remember walking down the street after school. I don’t remember turning on to Maple. I don’t remember coming up the steps. Nothing.

My head is killing me. Aaron was holding me on the ground. His friends were kicking me, and now I’m here. Shit.

(wipes bloody nose) Aaron gave me that. That much I remember. And… where’s my book bag. I had it when I left schoo… Aaron must have taken it.

Look, you’re going to think this is totally nuts. I think it’s totally nuts. But, I read about these people online at whatweird and other sites, about people who can teleport themselves just by imagining in a place, and they could appear there! That’s what happened to me, I swear! Aaron was holding me down, his friends were kicking me… I was thinking about home… here I am.

Maybe I didn’t. Aaron and his friends beat the crap out of me. Maybe I just hit my head. Maybe I just don’t remember.
