Carla: Hello, everyone! My boyfriend, Toby, is Jonas' cousin, and I convinced him that we should come up here after Bree died. You know, to see if we can get him in better spirits? But, he hasn't said a word since we've been here.
[Cuts to Jonas swimming laps in his pool]
Carla: All he ever does is swim!
Carla: [Next to Jonas.] Hey Jonas! [Jonas swims to the end of his pool and gets out. He walks up to Carla.] Here, wanna towel? [He takes the towel and continues walking] Wow, [Jonas lays down on a chair] a thank you would be nice. How was your swim, Jonas? [Jonas gasps his head and sighs in annoyance] Did you have a good swim? [She giggles and pokes Jonas] Come on, Jonas. [She giggles and pokes him again.] Say something. Just one word! [Jonas rolls over]
Carla: [Now angered.] Is that too much to ask!? [Pans over to pool]
[Cuts to Toby and Carla in the kitchen.]
Carla: I still can't believe that he hasn't said anything to me, I mean, nothing!
Toby: Just sayin' baby, but I don't think he even wants us here.
Carla: You're his cousin, I think you should be a little more concerned about him.
Toby: After his parents died, He has really been treating the entire family like they didn't exist, so I really don't "owe" him anything.
Carla: [Giggles.] You're just jealous that I flirted with him at that party. [She tickles Toby.]
Toby: [Giggles.] Hey, how many decades ago was that? [They both laugh.]
[Toby walks out of the room.]
Carla: [coming back on camera, still laughing.] That was easy! [She walks to the window and looks out at Jonas.] I wonder whats been going on with Jonas? [She sighs as Jonas puts on his goggles.]
[Cuts to the living room where the trio is watching TV. Carla throws handfuls of popcorn at Jonas, making a high pitched noise every time.]
Carla: Wants some popcorn? [She laughs.]
Toby: Hey, leave him alone! Geez!
Carla: I'm not going to stop until he tells me to!
Toby: Come on, Carla, please!
Carla: [Jonas shields himself.] Oooooh, [Jonas comes up and takes her bowl of popcorn. She laughs.] Oh my god! That was a little rough, wasn't it, Jonas? [Jonas passes the popcorn to Toby. Toby takes a huge bite, Jonas continues to look forward.] Toby. Toby!
Toby: Carla, please!
Carla: Do you really think he's a mute?
Toby: No! Can you be quiet?
Carla: Jonas! [She pans the camera to herself and shakes her head.] He really is a mute! [She shrugs.]
[Cuts to Carla and Toby in the car. They drive up to Jonas running. They continue to follow him as he runs. Toby honks.]
Toby: See, babe? He's annoyed. You happy? [He mumbles.]
[Cuts to Toby and Carla back at Jonas' house.]
Carla: [Running through the house.] Toby! Toby! Did you find him? Toby! [Toby comes in through the door]
Toby: Is he up stairs?
Carla: No! Did you look outside?
Toby: Yes he's not...
Carla: You sure?
Toby: Yes! [He sighs.] He's gone!
