:I did an IP trace on the United Arab Emirate's address.  That's an actual UAE IP address, which makes me think the request might be real.  The UAE is well-known for looking out for Arab actors.  There's a lot of anger in the Arab world that Arab actors only get cast as terrorists.  So when an Arab actor gets fired from a non-terrorist role, many people would be genuinely upset.--[[User:JayHenry|JayHenry]] 09:31, 9 November 2006 (PST)

Are Yousef Abu-Taleb and Allen Smithee the same person?

Allen Smithee is a pseudonym used in Hollywoord (see wikipedia entry)


Replacing Yousef's name with "Allen Smithee" is not appropriate considering that it is a pseudonym reserved by directors and people who want to distant THEMSELVES from their work. It doesn't appear that Yousef is changing his LGpedia entry himself, or voluntarily removing himself from LG15.
