:Although Daniel has mentioned that his parent's "aren't exactly the hands-on type" ([[Silent Treatment]]), this is the first time we hear of anything worse.  Daniel had never said his parents were recovering alcoholics, and he didn't say they actually ignored him.  People had long been wondering how he could be gone for months without his parents sounding an alarm... and this all kind of explains it.  Should we rephrase?  [[User:OwenIsCool|OwenIsCool]] 12:39, 14 February 2007 (CST)

Yes he did. He said they pay no attention to him. Recall the episode when Bree goes to Jonas's and he goes home? He says for that entire month or whatever that he was at Paul's and they clearly didn't even care enough to call and find out. They definitely ignore him and that was made clear in earlier episodes. Edits

I noticed that IDX84 removed the "-" from "thirty-second" and the comma from "February 13, 2007". I changed them back but wanted to make sure that the way I have it is actually correct.--Jonpro 18:34, 13 February 2007 (CST)

Actually IDX84 is an official account of the lonelygirl15 production team.--Iris2009 18:36, 13 February 2007 (CST)

JonPro is correct though. The dash belongs in "thirty-second" and the comma belongs after February 13. While the edits from the official accounts are authoratitive on matters such as script, we can still correct them when they make grammatical mistakes like that.--JayHenry 18:46, 13 February 2007 (CST)

I agree, but thats where you admins come in and let us know if we can change it back :)--Iris2009 18:48, 13 February 2007 (CST)

Was just trying to match it to the use of "thirty first" on the previous vid, but either way is cool with me. IDX84 19:08, 13 February 2007 (CST)

I don't think the statement that this is the first time Daniel has discussed the problems with his parents is correct. He has mentioned his parents' lack of attention to him multiple times before. --Languorous Lass 10:04, 14 February 2007 (CST)

Although Daniel has mentioned that his parent's "aren't exactly the hands-on type" (Silent Treatment), this is the first time we hear of anything worse. Daniel had never said his parents were recovering alcoholics, and he didn't say they actually ignored him. People had long been wondering how he could be gone for months without his parents sounding an alarm... and this all kind of explains it. Should we rephrase? OwenIsCool 12:39, 14 February 2007 (CST)
