Picture Debate: Escape vs. Romance

Why did you change the Pic? The one I put up first, I thought captured the essence of the video. But you decided to put a "romantic " picture there that totally creates a false image of Bree's and Jonas's relationship. I know there are at least 100 girls out there that want to believe that Jonas and Bree are in love, but that's just not where the story is at. If I hadn't already seen the video, I would assume from that picture that Bree and Jonas were about to jump into bed together. -misty 00:46, 10 May 2007 (CDT)

I think there is a definitely love connection going on. And I don't just say that because I have a $50 bet with ApotheosisAZ about it. I can't say one pic is preferred over the other as the video had two storylines. --Milowent 00:49, 10 May 2007 (CDT)
You know what, I think two people can watch the same thing and get totally different ideas about what it's about. To me the main point of the vid was advancing the Bree and Jonas relationship. But if other people thought it was more about Jonas and Daniel looking for Jules, I'm fine with that too. I know that's what the video was actually /about/ but I just felt like the BJ stuff was more the character-purpose of the vid. I'd love opinions though? :) --Zoey 00:58, 10 May 2007 (CDT)
Hmm, this one is a little tough. I think that we see the plot moving along more often than we see a "romantic connection", so maybe we should highlight the romantic stuff when it does come along. That's not to say the plot stuff isn't important--it definitely is--but the image obviously isn't the only thing that gives people information about the video. That's just my opinion, and there really isn't a right answer; it's just preference really.--Jonpro 01:12, 10 May 2007 (CDT)
Except in this video there wasn't any romantic stuff to highlight. The interaction in the scene that the picture came from was one of bree being upset and Jonas trying to comfort her. That picture out of context, you can't tell that breee had tears in her eyes and was upset. It looks like Bree and Jonas are looking at each other with passsionate desire, but if you look at it in context, you don't get that at all. The picture and the caption are telling a totally different story about Bree and Jonas's relationship than the video is. -misty 02:02, 10 May 2007 (CDT)
