are "the deacons" aware that many people are watching? and if so many people are watching, why are the deacons so unashamed of publicly tormenting a tennage girl and her family? - platypusrex256

Perhaps because she is so important to their belief.--modelmotion 03:07, 18 November 2006 (PST)

"Since anyone can post under the name The Deacons..." Isn't this now out of date as a result of the server upgrade?--Jonpro

screen caps?

Why are we posting screen caps instead of copying and pasting the text? --Brucker 11:47, 22 November 2006 (CST)

Valid point, however it might be a good thing to keep the screencaps. Older computers/browsers or computers who do not have the proper language installed may not be able to see the non-English text and will instead see a bunch of question marks. --Andy 11:57, 22 November 2006 (CST)

The reason that i have used screen captures is because text is just too easy to modify. Yes, I could modifty the screen capture but that would take more work and show up under forensic analysis. I also provide a link to the original source material so that allows users to copy the actual text if they want to do their own research. I believe this is the most accurate way to document that this was information taken directly from the chat and not some fake or modified text that was added to the LGpedia.--modelmotion 12:45, 22 November 2006 (CST)

From deleted Grigori page

According to Wikipedia, Grigori "are a group of fallen angels told of in Biblical apocrypha who mated with mortal women, giving rise to a race of giants known as the Nephilim. Also known as "Watchers" (from Greek egrḗgoroi), the Grigori appear in the booksEnoch and Jubilees". Book of Enoch is an Angelic teaching which also equals the storyline.

The Deacons (commenter) (aka Deacons (commenter)) have now made several references to Grigori. This seem to tied in with what Gemma described as a Watcher.

From deleted Samyaza page

According to Wikipedia, "Samyaza (Aramaic: שמיחזה, Greek: Σεμιαζά) also Shemyazaz, Sêmîazâz, Semjâzâ, Shemyaza, Samyaza, Shemhazai, and Amezarak (Ethiopic corruption)) is a fallen angel of Christian tradition that ranked in the heavenly hierarchy as one of the Grigori (meaning "Watchers" in Greek"). The term was used by The Deacons (commenter) after Fleeing The Watcher.

Regarding deletion

The Deacons are fanfiction, but I find it irritating how much credit people give them on the comments boards. Some genuinely think they are canon. Their own breed of fanfiction is, well, original, and this poster is very prolific. However, the article is pathetically out-of-date since it tries to include all their comments. Perhaps rather than deleting it needs to be rewritten as a fanfiction piece, without giving such great emphasis on the speculation that they are canon. Now if Bree went and said "Well Deacons, I've been reading your posts and..." then of course we'd give them credit. OwenIsCool 19:08, 16 January 2007 (CST)

I think it should really be taken out of the religion section on the template. Stick it in fanfiction where it belongs...and axe umin thummin or whatever --Tannhaus 19:49, 16 January 2007 (CST)

LOL, how sly. It's on the template, but the template is not on the article. The Bree's religion template as a whole needs a cleanup. I'll just remove the commenters for now. OwenIsCool 19:56, 16 January 2007 (CST)
Ok, took out commenters and Urim thing. Interesting, I hadn't even noticed Urim was there. Isn't that page a redirect to The Deacons (commenter) anyway? Oh well, gone now. OwenIsCool 19:58, 16 January 2007 (CST)
