A better vid
Surprisingly one of Spence's better vids. Kudos to the first person who can make a Userbox saying "The User's not paranoid -- they're legitamately being followed!" :P --Pheon 18:20, 25 July 2007 (CDT)
- I like that line. Kinda like "Enemy of the State"'s tagline of "It's not paranoia if they're really after you." --Nieriel.Manwathiel
Nice use of "harbinger," I haven't heard that word since I took the SAT.
- True, that (Glad THAT's ancient history) --Pheon 00:23, 26 July 2007 (CDT)
- Thanks. I have a random vernacular, but I like words that help you stay succinct without annoying verbiage. (Now how's THAT for more SAT words? ;) but for real, I even used the word "vernacular" earlier today when telling a friend a certain word she thought I said wasn't in my vernacular) --Nieriel.Manwathiel
I've missed so much in the past four days xP And it didn't help that I got a voicemail saying they were putting up the mission video RIGHT when I walked into my hotel room the first day. I think I'm caught up now :D Love, Randy (Say Wha'? | Whachu Doin'?) [1:37 AM, Central Daylight]
- Ira Cronenberg is the friend that Spencer mentions owns The Makeshift Lab, where Spencer and Taylor made this video. Ira's father actually owns the lab, and they're turning it into an office space. •Silver• Talk | Contribs 13:35, 27 July 2007 (CDT)
Boy who cried wolf
Now that we know that bad things did happen to the group, I took out the reference to the boy who cried wolf. I don't think the reference is really accurate when talking about Spencer's joking about the serum. It seems like a bit of a stretch, especially since the boy cried wolf time and time again until the people no longer believed him. Spencer has been trustworthy up until this point (and after, as well), so it doesn't really apply.
