Hey, I'm curious -- what does 'first' and 'last' refer to when the current look has it blank??--Pheon 11:42, 17 June 2007 (CDT)

It should only be blank if you don't have anything in there. If you put something for first/last you should get the normal "Person" display. (Should being the operative word here.) --Zoey 20:49, 17 June 2007 (CDT)
Well, FYI, its not working on my profile for some reason (that, or I'm just being a moron . . . which is more common than I'd wish :P).--Pheon 02:16, 18 June 2007 (CDT)
It's totally just you being a moron!! Haha, no I'm kidding. I have no idea. I don't have time atm but later I shall look into it. Thanks for letting me know!! --Zoey 12:55, 18 June 2007 (CDT)
Yeah, Pheon is right. Now there's a big chunk of empty space on my profile, and I filled in the "first" and "last" things.   •Silver•   Talk | Contribs 15:22, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
Hey, Renegade, thanks a bunch! I just noticed! --Pheon 03:44, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

Just an Idea

O.K., I was thinking of making an edit to the fan person template adding on favorites. Like favorite character, favorite video, favorite ARG, favorite article, etc. Also we can add in little personal things such as favorite color, food, TV show, and things like that. I'm not sure, really. It would give it more of an "about me" feel in the user pages. I want to get feedback before I do anything because I have done that before, and it makes me look lie a wikiwhore, if you know what I mean. So what is all of y'all's point of view </texan accent> Love, -R- 00:39, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

((Note: I moved this topic from Lucy's Balcony to here. This is actually probably a better place for this convo.. but YAY youre making progress! And no, you dont look like a wiki-whore :P)) --Zoey 00:44, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

((Yeah, this would be a better spot, thanks.)) Love, -R- 00:47, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

I think that's a great idea, -R-! The FanPerson could use a little sprucing up :) I'd love to have a place to put favorite color, favorite food, etc. Keep in mind though that those lovely Userboxes already provide a great place for Favorite Characters, crushes, and episodes. --Pheon 00:48, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
Well, of course I remember! I love the userboxs, but just a little more info might make it look more fan-ish, but goodness I don't mean to replace the infamous USERBOX! Love, -R- 00:50, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
Sounds like a good idea to me too! Why don't you make a list of fields you'd like to see added so you can get some feedback before you make them live. And actually, if you post a finalized list here, I'd be happy to do the actual coding (you said you were unfamiliar with wiki-coding, so I just

wanted to put the offer on the table :)) Can't wait to see what you come up with! --Zoey 02:37, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

It wasn't until I posted my thoughts did I decide to check your page, -R-, and good Lord, did I feel the dork to remind you about Userboxes! :P That said, My previous suggestions of Favorite Color & Favorite Food will be my contribution of the night . . . .--Pheon 03:25, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
OK, here as what I was thinking of. We should do the following fields:
Series Favorite...

Episode: My Mom's A Freak!
Cannon: Nikki Bower
Quote: Aaah, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaa!!! -Daniel
Relationship: Bree+Jonas
Personal Favorite...
Food: Salad
TV Show: King of the Hill
Book: Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
Movie: RENT
Song: Fly by Kite by Hazel and Vine
Color: Steal Blue
Choice of...
Music: Indie/Emo
Browser: FireFox
Video Site: YouTube
Social Networking Site: MySpace
And so on. I can't think of all of them, so y'all </texan accent again> can help me out on this. Really, I think some of them are too much, and there are some I can't think of, so again, I need help from everyone. Love, -R- 15:42, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
I LOVE the idea of, at the very least, the "series" favorites. Like... I might add that to mine for the heck of it. *grins*. That's really cool. --Chartreuse 16:51, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
