Bree: So... the ceremony is tomorrow and I feel ready. This last month has been very difficult. Once a week I've been receiving shots. They don't always leave me feeling the best. The diet has been near impossible. I don't know how I did that. Luckily, today they let me have milk and cookies.
(Looks at milk and cookies on bed and shakes head with enthusiasm.)
I haven't really noticed the pills I've been taking. I mean, it was hard at first just because I would always forget them when I left the house. Enochian... (shakes head)... wow...it's such a beautiful language. It's so sad that no one ever hears it except for at these ceremonies. It's been a long haul. This past week... I felt like I've kind of crossed over. Things that were really difficult before just came a whole bunch easier and it's like I was holding on to a lot of things that I really didn't need to. It was hard to accept that Daniel's friendship had been a lie all along, but... he didn't have my best interest at heart, so... kinda.
The first time I met Lucy, she told me something I will never forget. She said that "life can be amazing if you're willing to make sacrifices." Now I understand what she meant.
