i agree with the batman reference since here a picture of batgirl http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:GothamKnights43.jpg and sarah did make a yellow bat sign. Plus she did mention batman and robin saving gotham, and her making her alfred, but in the comic itself batgirl goes on to having her own adventure to prove that she is just as able to do crime fighting like batman and robin. the color scheme is important to tell the different of the Batman and Batgirl...
