As I mentioned earlier this week, if you have a problem with a video caption, suggest your own and mention your reasoning in the summary and/or the video's talk page. it's just unproductive to continually wipe the captions blank. I don't feel that there SHOULD be captions. They're mostly dumb.
- Well, you are entitled to your opinion, and there's nothing wrong with that. However, it is the general consensus that captions are prefered. In fact, if you've visited the site for some time, you may be aware that many LGPedians often discuss and debate ad naseum on what is the best caption for its respective video (the best example I currently remember would on the talk page of Entertaining Myself). In my own personal opionion, they add a wonderful element to their respective video, because they usually contain some humor, often citing inside jokes that are infamous with LG15 fans. --Pheon 05:32, 12 March 2008 (CDT)
each to their own, then. and i don't go to the forums often. and i definitely have never visited a "talk page". i don't believe i'll ever enjoy the captions...
Blanking
Now, had you registered and had your own userpage, then you may have a little more say about what content you may or may not like on it. However, talk pages are quite different, whether they are registered or not, as they show previous discussions on past issues that provide precedented decisions and such (makes no sense discussing something that's already been discussed) But repetitive page blanking is considered vandalism, and you need to stop. However, please appreciate the fact that you've made some good contributions on the LGPedia (despite past squabbles), and have even been willing to discuss your opinion (see that old discussion above? That does count for something) on the squabbles you've had - as a result, I see no reason to ban you (even temporarily) yet :) --Pheon 04:40, 14 April 2008 (CDT)
again, it's your point of view. and frankly, i just like having things blanked out... there needs to be a better way of documenting "wrongs" by people... because I like to have the page blank so I can figure out what's going on. And you could of actually said something instead of just copying and pasting it back without saying "please don't erase this again". i, personally, would rather have this completely blank so i don't have to scroll down or search for something new. there needs to be a better system. but of course, that is only my opinion. and just another comment... i don't see how it can possibly be considered vandalism to clear YOUR OWN discussion page. no one else should really be using it. i mean, seriously... what kind of LG15/KM stuff would people have to comment about me? I'm not in the series. there just needs to be a better system. maybe developers can figure that out rather than having this be so primal. and yes, i have made good contributions. :) i greatly appreciate the fact that i have made some. haha sorry, that was a sarcastic remark to a statement that was oddly written. y'all should be appreciative...why ought i need to appreciate myself for making good contributions? i'm just helping where i can when i have time...which i don't have a lot of.
