Bree: Okay, so... I had a really good time bowling the other night, except for the fact that I had to lie to my parents again. (cut to Bree holding up Purple Monkey) Bowling is like having a really heavy puppet on your hand. I'm back to school. Home school. I've got to get some schoolwork done so I'm gonna make this quick. Basically, Daniel wants to know if that was a date that we went on the other night. I've never been on a date. I don't think I would know a date if it came and bit me. (Bree bites Purple Monkey) Since Dad banned Daniel from the house, this is our only way of communicating. It sucks! I don't like lying to my parents, but, (sighs) right now I feel like they kind of deserve it. I told Daniel I'd go out with him again tomorrow night. Without my parent's permission, but, I don't know.
(fast forward musical montage in which Bree practices some yoga, but appears to be too distracted)
Bree: (to Purple Monkey) What do you think I should do?
