Transcript
The text PATIENT #11 appears on screen. The scene changes to a girl in a white hospital gown in shown lying on a bed. Music plays in the background. The date 02/01/2001 is stamped on the bottom left. The girl fidgets about her bed, mumbling to herself until a door is opened and a man in a white doctor's gown steps in. He moves the machine beside the girl's bed out of his way and checks her, pressing on her abdomen and neck. He then wraps her right arm in a black cuff, writes something on the clipboard and leaves the room. The girl is still obviously uneasy. She pulls herself up and talks to someone off the screen.
Ceremony girl: What was that song you were singing yesterday?
The doctor appears on her side again.
Doctor: I don't sing songs.
Ceremony girl: You did yesterday.
The doctor removes the cuff and the girl coughs.
Doctor: Piano Man, Billy Joel. How are the pills working for you - the green ones?
Ceremony girl: Besides the diarrhea, chills, and puking my guts out?
Doctor: (laughing) Yes, besides that.
Ceremony girl: Good. I'm really feeling better.
Doctor: Good.
The doctor wheels the machine off screen and the girl goes back to humming and fidgeting.
