Transcript

Voice: The fountain of youth is real, and it's in the blood of dozens of girls across the world. Their secret is known by few, yet desired by all. They are pawns in the most dangerous of games. We are the Resistance. Our mission is to find these girls, and protect them from those who want to use them, and destroy them. And we document what happens to them, so that their stories live on. This is the story of one of those girls. We are the Resistance. We will not be stopped.

(Static effect to a picture of the LG15: The Resistance logo. Static effect to a clip of Maggie's room, except a blank white tarp is covering the camera. LifesBlood security voices are heard.)

LBL Voice: Control, we have a visual interruption on 212.

LBL Voice 2: Tech 1, dispatching security to Patient 212.

LBL Voice: Security on route now, please advise.

(Cut to a clip of two LifesBlood security guards approaching Maggie's room. LifesBlood security voices are still overheard. One of the security guards talks into his walkie talkie.)

Security guard: No visual on Patient 212, repeat, no visual.

LBL Voice: Lockdown protocol initiated; opening Door 212.

(The two security guards walk into Maggie's room. One of them removes the cloth blocking the camera looking over the room.)

Security guard: Tech 1, we have a missing patient.

LBL Voice: Control, dispatch all officers to Ward 6 immediately.

(Static effect to Reed in Craptastic!. In the bottom right are the words Monday October 6, 2008 ReedABook. Reed is shown running down a street.)

Reed: Crap. Crappity crap crapping crap. Ready... crapping crap. Hold on... crap.

(Reed continues to run around the city and eventually ducks behind a wall. He is panting.)

Reed: I'm just... Guess, uh, this is my life now! Running. Ducking. Behind walls. I really wish I'd tried harder during gym class. Okay, Jonas, look. I- I know you guys are dealing with your own problems, but you're not the only people dealing with something that is bigger than yourselves right now. I asked you last week. I'm asking you again. Help me. Please, help me. I c- Oh man.

(The camera pans to Creepy Van Man across the street. Reed starts whispering to the man.)

Reed: Come on. Keep going. Come on. There you go. Yeah.

(The camera pans back to Reed.)

Reed: This is not as fun as they make it look on Alias. Everywhere, these... LifesBlood people are multiplying like gremlins on steroids. I don't know what they want from me. I don't know what I did wrong. I was just trying to help you guys. That's all I wanted. I can still help you, by the way. I saw what happened o-on Friday at the warehouse. If you guys just had one more person, your escapes wouldn't be so narrow. They'd be, uh, you know, wider, I guess. Clean. No fuss. I'm going to try and meet up with you guys on Friday if you can find me. If you can't... uh, um, I guess this will be my last post.

(Static effect to a security video with the words "Playback" in the top right corner. In the left corner in a box, another video is playing where security guards are running on a stairway. In the playback clip, Beaumont is seen carrying his janitor's cart into Maggie's room.)

LBL Voice: Control, we are reviewing security tapes for Patient 212. Also monitoring Lifes' security feeds.

Security guard: Agent 462 reporting.

(Beaumont enters Maggie's room. The main video now is a hallway. The video in the top left shows security guards with guns trying to break into Maggie's room. The video in the bottom right shows Beaumont and Maggie in her room. Beaumont is trying to comfort Maggie and eventually puts a white tarp over the camera.)

LBL Voice 2: Open Room 212 security cam recording.

Security guard: Who's lead on the floor?

LBL Voice 2: Agent 293. Security team is sweeping all rooms.

Security guard: Level 4 clear.

Security guard 2: Room 4 clear.

LBL Voice 2: Playback on hallway cam recordings, fullscreen.

(Cut to a fullscreen shot of Beaumont exiting Maggie's room nervously. He walks down the hallway and looks at the camera.)

Security guard: Who is that?

LBL Voice: Rewinding tape.

(Tape is rewound and paused at the spot where Beaumont looks at the camera.)

Security guard 2: Hold, please.

Security guard: All agents, your new target is orderly Beaumont Charles.

LBL Voice 2: Find him. Now!

(Static effect to Sarah in 1-800-I-CAN-REED. In the bottom right corner, text says Tuesday October 7, 2008 Sarah. Music starts playing and Sarah is seen bent in front of the camera. Cut to her sitting on her bed with the Samsaran Doctrine in hand. She makes a perplexed face at it. Cut to her in various positions on the bed reading the book. Cut to her in various positions on the bed becoming fed up with the book. Cut to her sitting on the bed. She closes the book and a cloud of dust flies out at her face. Cut to her directly in front of the camera, putting her sexy librarian glasses on.)

Sarah: Jonas and I spent the entire weekend trying to figure this thing and we got, um....

(Cut to Sarah with the book open, crossing her eyes at it.)

Sarah: Nada. Nothing. Not even my sexy librarian glasses did the trick.

(Cut to Sarah shrugging without her glasses on.)

Sarah: We contacted the Hymn of None to see if they had anything.

(Cut to Sarah holding the book above her, shaking it out.)

Sarah: When in doubt, turn to the super-secret all-knowing robot-voice people. A few minutes ago, we got this key from them and apparently it's specially formatted for this Samsaran Doctrine thingamado. Just so Jonas and I aren't the only ones having all the fun, I'm gonna post it on the website just for you. If you can figure out, like, a segment of it, we'll take care of the rest of the book. I know what you're thinking. "What lazy Resistance leaders!" How dare you. Well, not exactly. Jonas and I have a few things to discuss, namely the whole Reed situation. Maybe this is the pot calling the kettle black, but can he be trusted? I don't know. I'd like to think so. We're gonna go out for a bit, talk about some stuff, and relax. Where are we going? Some place with a happy hour special, of course!

(Cut to Jonas in Powder Keg of Beer!. Text in the bottom right corner says 1:00 AM Wednesday October 8, 2008 Jonas. He is shirtless.)

Jonas: Oof. Reed, I understand where you're coming from. We are the last two people on earth you'd wanna be around if you were at all concerned about your own safety. That's why I don't think you should come with us.

(Cut to Sarah in Angry Drunk Chick!. Text in the bottom right corner says 3:00 AM Wednesday October 8, 2008 Sarah. She is in the bathroom, noticeably drunk.)

Sarah: Reed looks normal. And cool. And cute. And I think he should join us.

(Static effect to both Sarah and Jonas in Remember the Mission. Text in the bottom right corner says Wednesday October 8, 2008 HymnofNone. Clips of Sarah and Jonas from their latest videos are shown in a split screen form, with Sarah on the left and Jonas on the right. Clips flash of Sarah drinking while Jonas's flashing clips pause to him talking.)

Jonas: You know, that Sarah can drink like a sailor.

(Clips flash of Jonas vlogging while Sarah's flashing clips pause to her talking.)

Sarah: For the record, you have no clue.

(Clips flash of Sarah's latest video while Jonas talks.)

Jonas: But after tonight, it's clear that she's a little unstable.

(Clips flash of Jonas's latest video while Sarah talks.)

Sarah: You. Are. A. Tight. Ass.

(Clips of Sarah continue to flash while Jonas's half of the video is pausedto a screenshot of him. Then, Sarah's clips pause. After a few seconds, both clips begin to flash again.)

Voice: Jonas, Sarah, you are acting like fools, your disagreements with one another are counter-productive. Bickering does not advance our common goal. If either of you are to succeed, you must combine your efforts. You must focus on what is important.

(Over top of the continuous clips of Jonas and Sarah, several shots of the Samsarine Doctrine are shown.)

Voice: The book is what matters. Our community understands this. Their diligence and commitment shame you in this hour. You are supposed to lead the Resistance, not take advantage of it. We are so close. The Samsaran Doctrine is no longer a myth. It is in our posession and we will use it to our advantage. Jonas, Sarah, you must translate the remaining pages. Find the solution. Find us the weapon in the stone. Work together, or fail us all. The choice is yours.

(Static effect to Beaumont sitting at a table in an interrogation room.)

LBL Voice: Interrogation room J.

Security guard 2: Entering interrogation room.

(A security guard enters the interrogation room. Beaumont gets up defensively. Subtitles are shown.)

Security guard 2: Where is she?

Beaumont: I don't know what you're talking about.

(The security guard pushes Beaumont into a wall.)

LBL Voice: He knows where she is.

Security guard 2: Do you have any idea what she is?

Beaumont: I don't know.

Security guard 2: Shut up! Get up. Get up now.

Beaumont: Please...I was just cleaning.

Security guard 2: Stand the fuck up!

(Beaumont stands up.)

LBL Voice: He knows where she is; break him down.

Security guard 2: That girl is the culmination of millions of dollars of research...

Beaumont: I don't know which girl...

(The security guard punches Beaumont and he falls.)

Security guard 2: Her blood is the most valuable substance on the planet.

(The security guard picks up a chair and threatens to beat Beaumont with it.)

Security guard 2: I swear to God, if you don't tell me what you did with her, I will beat you to death with this goddamn chair!

Beaumont: Downstairs. She's downstairs in the supply room.

(The security guard sets down the chair and walks out of the room.)

LBL Voice 2: All heads to Supply Room B. Go! Now!

LBL Voice: All heads to Supply Room. Sub-basement level.

(Beaumont is seen crying. Static effect to Reed in All Aboard!. Text in the bottom right corner says Friday October 10, 2008 Sarah. Images of Reed walking around a city, repeatedly checking his watch, he is followed from behind into an alley.)

Creepy Van Man: Excuse me...

(The camera turns and the Creepy Van Man punches Sarah. Sarah falls down. Creeoy Van Man repeatedly tells Sarah something and then takes out a gun. Jonas jumps in and starts to beat up Creepy Van Man.)

Reed: Should I uh...do, do you need a-

(Jonas finishes off the Van Man.)

Jonas: Feel free to jump in next time. C'mon, let's get out of here.

Reed Me too?

Sarah: Oh, c'mon.

Jonas: (hesitantly) Yeah, you too. (looks at Sarah) He's your responsibility, not mine.

Sarah: Done and done, let's go.

(Static effect to LifesBlood security footage of the supply room.)

LBL Voice: All units to supply room.

(Security guards are seen coming into the supply room with guns.)

Security guard: We're at the supply room.

(Another security guard opens the door to the supply room and the rest of the guards march in with guns.)

Security guard: Go! Go!

Security guard 2: Doors are clear. Main area clear. Search everywhere, damnit!

(Cut to footage of Maggie's room.)

Security guard: Sir, there's nobody here. She's gone, sir.

(Cut to what seems like Maggie falling from the ceiling. She looks very nervous. She runs out the door.)

LBL Voice 2: Do not let that orderly go. He is a dead man.

(Static effect to the LG15: The Resistance logo. Text says www.LG15.com.)
