Description Am I going to regret this whole attempt at "communicating my thoughts?" Are some things too personal to talk about here? Where do we draw the line? After thinking about it last night, I think figuring that out for yourself is part of the assignment, so here goes nothing.

Rachel: I've got something on my mind. And I figure as long as I have to continue doing these video blogs, I might as well talk about it. Until a month ago, I was seeing this guy Jordan. We started going out last fall. It was going really great at first. But I suppose if things are going great at the beginning, it would never really go. Jordan is in a band. And back in April I started to suspect that he had some very personal connections with a few of the female fans. I checked his cell phone and I found a few text messages that were not appropriate for my boyfriend to be sending. When I confronted him, he swore it was just flirting. And I believed him. Because I guess I wanted to. Oh, and I did that stupid girl thing where I blamed the other girl for trying to steal my man and... maybe I left a few voicemails that in hindsight could have been considered... threatening. So I felt really stupid for jumping to conclusions... until his birthday last month when I stopped my his apartment to suprise him. What I walked into couldn't really be misconstrued as anything else other than my boyfriend having sex with another girl. At my college they offer free, anonymous STD tests. Back in February, a friend of mine asked me to go with her. I can count the number of partners I've had on one hand, with fingers to spare. But I got tested when she did as a sign of solidarity. You know like, when you go shopping together and you each buy something. Look, girls are weird. What do you want from me? Anyways, two weeks later I called in to get the test results, and everything was good. But now I've been worrying about what else my ex-boyfriend had up to. So yesterday, I looked online and found a clinic that offers STD tests with only a few days turnaround. I went there on my lunch break yesterday, and it was relatively painless. Other than the fact that it cost $85. If my ex gave me cooties, I'm gonna kill him.
