To me it looks like a rotten watermelon, or an ugly marble.

Maybe it is referencing the "Learning Egyptian" Gemma video? Or how about when Bree is studying her ceremonial language? |

Thats really weird. It looks kind of like metal but its got a very interetsing texture, like fabric...the colours in the shadow and edges make it look like the hue or contrast has been played with or something... |

Kind of except that hematite's reflection of light is more iridescent. I think it looks like those glass beads at the bottom of the fishtank. Like those marbles with a flattened side? I don't know what to call them, but I know Magic players use them as gaming counters. |

Exactly it reminds me of the ones I saw made of hematite once! couldnt for the life of me thing of a way to describe them
on another note maybe the message is just "circle" or "round" as she labels this as step 5 so maybe just a way of telling us to talk the other puzzles adn arrange them in a circular pattern ( the movie one and the loveline one) which we kinda already knew to do |

Okay. To me it looks like the eye on a stuffed animal. I think the colors would be the way they are because it is zoomed in so much. _________________ save a broom, ride a quidditch player. |

Something I have time for and ideas about! Yay!
I'm messing with it in Photoshop, and I can see some sort of pattern in the top of it ... don't know if it's an illusion or not.
But ... idea off the top of my head- While it does look to me like a decorative "flat" marble that goes in a fish tank/vase/etc ... could it possibly be a "bug" or listening device? Or maybe even a tiny camera?
(Heh, probably just a marble.) _________________ This will not mean that one mind is right and the other wrong, because each one of us has his own universe all to himself, and it is not the same as anybody else's universe. - Aleister Crowley

The area around it, it if is actual color, reminds me of fiberglass boat hull.
Porthole with something jammed in it from the inside of the boat? |

after messing with it a little the bottom (atleast for me) design the person above is talking about seems like an upside down insect to me...
as for messing with it i am getting nuthing.
i agree though that it looks like a hematite button or stone of a sort |
