Well, secret ceremonies aren't *that* strange. It just may be the way things are.
My freshmen year of college I joined a sorority and our initiation ceremony was a secret. It was baically a hours long and we had no idea what was going to happen during it. But none of us thought that it was strange cause that was just how things were. |

I just checked YouTube and under the "Tags" it says .... "Denderah"
I did a quick search and it turns out to be some Egyptian God...
Could that be what she said? ... |

Yes. She said "They don't know, okay! They're not order of Denderah, okay!"
Meaning there is a higher order within the church called Denderah that runs the ceremony she's to be in. Her parents are not privy to the secrets of the Order of Denderah.
And that white mark on her back in the swimming video is an ibis, representing the Egyptian god Thoth. |

It could also be that "Bree" perhaps said "Order of OTO" real fast and in accent (O.T.O.)
which stands for "Ordo Templi Orientis" |
True. But wouldn't Order of ordo be redundant? |
Yes it would. But so is repeating an observation someone else has made back on page 7. Read the entry from Hmmm here:

Maybe we should make a rule that if you're going to repeat something trivial that someone else has already pointed out you have to type it backwards. |
Hey, I just don't really feel like reading 120 posts before I post my idea. If it's already been said, feel free to ignore it or just answer it in one post. No need for extensive hullabaloo... Kind of like what I am doing now... Soooo, let's just drop this _________________ toriana |

At the start of the video, when Bree goes to get in the passenger seat of the car, the door is locked, and she says "you locked me out".
Is there any significance to that? Is it just added for colour, or is it some kind of forshadowing or other message.
If Daniel locked her out, does that make him the key? That would possibly fit in with the popular "de-virginisation" theory. |

Haha all this virgin talk... I think it'd be EXTREMELY wreckless of the creators to create a series that appeals to little kids and then have Bree's virginity or lack there of a major plot vehicle. (Yes, no matter how much you want to say "how can you say this is for kids, but Crowley's involved!", I say to you he's never been explicitly mentioned. LG DOES appeal to the younger set.)
I really think that was just them trying to be funny, they needed some zany things to happen. Like the whole does D stand for Daniel, I see that as a joke. Not something to be looked into deeply. We need to step back and realize this is people writing things day to day trying to keep it funny as well as interesting. We can't be reading into everything the characters say trying to figure how that directly relates to the wider plot. _________________ Check out: Funniest LG15-related episode... ever?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ6kBdNegfs |

She must have snuck out again
Bree: you excited to teach me to drive? Are you scared?
Daniel: I'm more afraid of your Dad, actually
i really really don't think there will be anything involving Bree losing her virginity, totally agree with Hyemew |

That struck me too. Why would they include that if it weren't significant?
I'm not sure about the virginity thing though... What else could it mean? What else could Daniel have locked her out of? |

The car. As a joke. Remember LG is an at least partly humorous series. _________________ Check out: Funniest LG15-related episode... ever?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ6kBdNegfs |

Obviously you have never been in a greek frat/sorority (not sure which sex you are).
There is alot of stuff that goes along with the intitation. After spending several months in the sorority you have a week of tests/days and the final intiation.
Not as time consuming as Bree but my point was, in certain organization these types of ceremonies and not knowing what is going to happen isn't totally unheard of.
Therefore Bree, being raised this way, would have no reason to question it. |

I agree that the virgin thing is pretty crass, and I'll be a little disapointed if they go for an idea that is so well worn. I was just throwing it out there for fun.
I still think the locked out section probably means something. If it's supposed to be a joke, they need new writers. Seriously, who laughs at unremarkable and common stuff like that, which happens to people all the time?
If you want to argue it was included to convey a sense of everyday normalcy, I'd find that easier to swallow, although you'd think the time for that would be towards the start of the story, not now that it seems to be hotting up.
As piratesour points out, she says that he's locked her out, but the window is open...then he gets out so she can get into the drivers seat anyway.
The videos are so short, I'm not buying that stuff happens for no reason. |
