Bree is growing up. This whole experience is making her more mature. Sure she is acting different, she is acting like a young woman now, apoligizing to Daniel, thinking things through, making a plan.
She is not the little Bree that plays with stuffed animals anymore. I think we will see less and less of them, and I for one and thankful for that. Everyone bitched and moaned because she was taking P Monkey to the movies, and not acting her age. Now she is, and people want to see the animals?

I dont mind them but Bree is maturing. It is going to be hard to incorporate them in.

Which is awesome. We've been waiting forever to see her acting like this.

Please God, no. Creators, if you're listening, please do not sacrifice the advancement of the plot and the improvement of the character for the sake of a few cries to see her acting like an idiot with those toys again. It's time to make stuff happen, and I think that a few videos of a proactive Bree will have all but the most plushie-obsessed pleased with the change.
Maybe have the toys show up in the background every once in a while if you've got to make them appear for fan service reasons, but Bree doesn't need to go back to having that cancerous purple rat permanently attached to her hand again -- ever (to borrow Daniel's terminology for the matter). She was unbearable during that period. Daniel put up with her a lot longer than most of us would have. I don't think we could handle going through it again. |

Honestly I would probably stop watching if they complete got rid of P Monkey, Owen, and Thor. I mean its in Bree's character to play with and talk to those stuffed animals, she should stay that way.

Then the plot would never go anywhere and most of us would want to strangle her. And while it has been in her character to do that, something that is important in all stories is this: when an aspect of a character's personality is a problem (either for their personal life or whatever), it needs to change. That's character development.
Characters don't always have to change. They don't always have personality traits that are a problem. In those cases, though, we still need to get to know the character. That's character exploration. So far, we have explored Bree's character and found her personality to have a major problem. We now seem to be getting development, as she begins to move beyond that problem. This is what many of us have been hoping for over the course of weeks (and months, depending on what aspects of her character bothered you previously; I know that whole "I'll listen to whatever authority figures tell me to do  " shit got on my nerves way before I wanted to smack her with P. Monkey did), while we slowly suffocated under the weight of her ongoing stupidity.
If she ever goes back to playing with the toys all the time, it needs to be after all the important stuff is settled. Her parents have been kidnapped, for God's sake. She's got stuff she needs to be doing. The toys can wait. |

Once again, I leave for work just as the 'producers' begin to upload a new video!!!    I think I'm beginning to see a trend here... I'm beginning to think that you guys don't like me very much... 
*sighs* I would really, really like to post something on the new vid, but I'm afraid that I'm totally drained right now and I'm not really thinking too coherently...
I am glad to see Bree, again. Her words were like food for the soul.
I've read all the other comments, so far, and I have my own questions, too. But they're all the same as what's already been asked, here.
Due to my current condition, I'll have to watch the video again, in the morning, and hopefully, this topic will not have gotten too far ahead of me, so I can post my own hypotheses at that time.

I thought about this before. In the Wired article (I think) the creators said something about hiring other teams to work on new character's videos (or something like that), maybe Jonas' vids are being filmed really far away from Bree's and Daniel's? Maybe thats why we've never seen Jonas in a shot with Bree and Daniel yet? |
Jonas was in the "Your Decision" video. I guess it's possible it was edited from a video shot far away, but it looked like the same place.
Btw, OT, but what's the actor's name who plays Jonas? Has anyone ever told us? |

| sorry guys, I don't know if this has already been posted I haven't had time to read yet, but did anyone notice how she painted her nails? didn't Lucy do that for her? what, did jonas have nail polish lying around? Plus, she tried to hide her hands all thru the vid, except for one little instance we see her thumb. Wasn't she too depressed to even eat?? |

I checked out the skateboarding video, there's just 1 semi clear shot of his face... this little kid doesn't look like Jonas much. In fact, he kinda looks asian...
I could be wrong, as I'm looking through the eyes of a person who's been awake since 5:30am... however, let's gather thoughts!
