i wouldn't say that it is racist to not have certain creeds or races in a video.
if i hang out with two other white girls one day i am being racist because i didn't make sure to call up my black or brown friends? I hope not.
they happened to cast white people, i don't think it had much to do with races as much as just they went with where the talent/character was. the creators had visions of the characters in their minds before casting.
if there were an absense of multiculturalism from the series for overtly racist purposes then is the time to be upset.
complaining about it without warrent only means the threat of a quick hackjob of a sterotypical character to add those levels, which in a way is much worse. _________________ <DTayl> actually i'm the bad sister

I myself caught myself noticing that everyone in the vids happened to be (or look) white. However, I really doubt if in the end The Order turned out to be a bunch of white supremicists.
In the long run, the current actors are the people who auditioned for the part and won, and they happen to not look like the cast of "Whoopi." I'm sure we could just have just as easily had a Filipina Bree or a Bahamanian Jonas, but they didn't get the parts, Jessica and Jackson did. |

I hope this gets locked soon. I don't really believe that this show is racist. I always assume that people are open-minded (not pc, but open-minded). In American media, when chararcters are not white, this non-whiteness always tends to be addressed. It would be additional work and have additional implications for the writers. In America, race always tends to turns political. This crowd is not a political crowd. I hope this gets locked soon. I am a person of color (it is so much easier to say this than to write I come from a parent who is Mashantucket Pequot and African American and another parent who comes from Poland). Anyhow, I hope this gets locked soon. _________________ I hope you realize that I suck.::The finest satire is that in which ridicule is combined with so little malice and so much conviction that it even rouses laughter in those who are hit.-Georg Christoph Lichtenberg |

I agree with gogo... accusing the Creators of being racist just because the cast of this particular story happens to be Caucasian is unfair. Would you complain if you went to a movie and the cast was Caucasian? Probably not, because the influx of many races into entertainment is greater than ever. But bringing up the racist card is quite extreme. So to keep things from getting out of control and avoid more needless talk about the shirtless homeless guy, I will lock this. _________________ President of the Owen Fan Club |
