Ok - you guys are being kinda mean to eachother. This story is FUN because its about guessing, researching and using our imaginations. Let's just ease off, take a lesson where it's learned and not make any strong claims over and over that we are not 110% sure about anymore. We need just FACTS if we're gonna help Bree! No one likes to read flame threads. Why not PM eachother next time?

While the Creators are clever, they aren't above making huge mistakes. Like in Daniel's "Following the Helper" video, the computer's clock clearly said "Thursday, October 12" even though October 12 was already supposed to have passed in the storyline. And then there's the whole debacle with "The Test" and "Your Decision" turning out to have been filmed before the forum ever got the chance to "decide" if B&D should go to Jonas'. |
Exactly...I think it's crazy to think that every frame is purposefully included. The creators videos are full of holes, lots of things that are esentially meaningless ot the storyline.
Like the thing with the helicopters. A lot of people assume the the helicopters play a role. In fact, the videos are filmed in Los Angeles, helicopters are common everywhere. Media copters, police copters, provate ones...they're everywhere here. Chances are they were just in the background and don't mean anything to the story....but a lot of users want to see clues in everything....do we really have that many clues in these videos? A handful perhaps...but not in every frame. Now, the OpAPhid/Tachy vids are a different story. |

I totally see your point! Those are pretty excellent examples of mistakes... and the window image could also be grouped with this... but there are still the two things that keep me from it.
-The crew and cast had access to the entire house for this shoot
-This video has one of the most important shots in the series; the first time we see Bree's house after her parents have dissappeared and Bree & Daniel have been on the run.
The 2 things you've suggested are continuity errors - so, perhaps the shot of Daniel looking at the house from afar was shot on a separate day or between a large amount of time that the inside of the house was?

Okay, I can see why you might think that someone's living there. But couldn't all of this evidence also indicate that Bree's parents were hustled out really quickly and didn't have time to clean anything up? That's supposedly what happened to the family back in Nottinghamshire that was discussed in Gemma's early vids -- the family that turned out to be Tachyon's.

We know the video is set in Bree's house BECAUSE DANIEL TOLD US IT'S SET IN BREE'S HOUSE. The medical pamphlets are the focus of part of the video BECAUSE THE CREATORS WANTED US TO SEE THEM.

That last idea would be my guess. Who knows how much footage they had (and how long they spent filming it) before they edited it down to a minute and fifty seconds? I personally doubt that whatever was up there in the window was important, or even intentional. Time will tell, but that's just my assumption for the moment.

So after like the 123808 time I've watched this vid (maybe it's the vouyer at heart I have to keep at bay) I checked it out on YouTube instead of the lonelygirl hopepage this time. One of the keywords in this video is "family room". It could be family, it could be room, but since YouTube doesn't alphebatize when they list their keywords, I believe these two are meant to be together. I took another look at the family room Daniel checks out and he opens a drawer. How many family rooms have a drawer with white material in it? Table cloths are for dining rooms. Folded white material? Perhaps they were the robes Daniel pokes fun at for the Fall Equinox Celebration that Bree meets Lucy at? With all the talk of robes lately (window image speculation, Warpylol reflections) this provokes my ... imagination... maybe there's more to this little "family room that's not like the nice family room" than we thought. Since, afterall, it is a keyword.

Everytime I watched that video I thought it was weird he opened the drawer. I mean, when you walk into a room, why go straight to a drawer under the TV? Tisnt normal.
Wait...if he and Bree always used to go in there, maybe they put something secret there? The mum and dad for them? Other than pmonkey?

There's something Dan wasn't meant to see in there, that's why the dad used to always check on them! TO MAKE SURE DANIEL HADN'T OPENED THE DRAWER |

You know that might exactly be what Daniel meant by finding something. He could have found either what he was looking for in that drawer or maybe Bree's parents left something in there. Hmm... interesting.
