Um, that makes totally no sense to me. Cheating on your spouse with someone of the same sex still makes it cheating, not "allowed".
And this is the real clincher of the disfunctionality of that situation for me: One of the women and her husband had a threesome and she got all jealous of him being intimite with the other women!! Are you f*cking kidding me?!? You just had your face in her nether regions and that's okay but your husband can't put his penis there?
Could someone please explain the rational behind this "sanctioned" cheating? |
May I be blunt?
I think that some people believe that if it doesn't involve a penis being inserted into a vagina, it's not sex, and it's not cheating.
(Remember Bill Clinton apparently thought this way -- and he's far from the only one.)
I seriously think that's the reason. |

but for lesbians that is how they have sex, by going down on one another.
my views on sex for f/f, m/f, and m/m vary
it is an individual thing. _________________ -Kelly |

Ahem.
I am a lesbian. Ergo, I know how lesbians have sex.
BTW, not all of us go down on one another. |

Basically a guy will take any chance he can get to have another woman and giving his wife permission tro bring home another woman is basically being allowed to cheat
and why will guys let thier wives sleep with women? we dont feel threatened by a woman stealing our wives its jsut sex (as long as we get to nail em too) see what im saying? _________________ circle circle dot dot

I have my theories . . . mostly that people who check both "bi" and "straight" are really mostly-straight-but-wanting-to-sound-cool. Or they fall really low on the Kinsey scale -- zeroes or 1s. (Me, I'm a Kinsey 5.) |
I am a 5. I agree. And that scale makes me happy. SOMEONE getting sexuality.

What drives me particularly nuts is all of these women who say, "I'm bi -- really I am . . . but I just happened to fall in love with a man, and we just happened to get married. It could have happened with a woman as well."
My reaction is, "How come I never meet any 'bi' women who 'just happened' to fall in love with a woman? And to decide to be with her forever, even though they didn't get any of the societal perks of marriage?"
If you're really bi, don't "just happen" to take advantage of the many, many privileges conferred on you by heterosexual marriage -- not as long as same-sex marriage is illegal in most of the world.
And if you're going to marry a man, be honest and stop calling yourself bi -- unless you're willing to refer to yourself as bi in all circles, including (a) at work, (b) at church (if you go), (c) with your inlaws . . . . IOW, don't just claim to be "bi" where it will give you coolness points. If you voluntarily give up that heterosexual privilege in your entire life, then I'll believe you're really bi.

This bothers me as well. I was dating this one girl for just over a year, my parents, grandparents, sibling, friends, etc came to terms with it and everything was fine and dandy until we hit a LARGE boulder in the road and broke up. I am now with a guy. My parents.. well my mother,(my dad is gay, he gets my pan sexuality), doesnt understand my relationship. I suppose none of my friends do really. They always say that I confuse them because I still, if need be labeled, consider myself a lesbian, even though I am with a guy. In my past I have never found boys sexually attractive and I always leaned towards girls when I was a kid (my first 5 kisses maybe were from girls). But after my relationship ended, I was confused as hell when this attraction to the man I am with now came about. So I say, I date who I date and gender isnt a factor. People still dont get it.
In response to the "cheating" topic, my boyfriend has asked me many times if I want to bring a girl into the bedroom with us and I said it would be okay but being with him is enough. We both agreed that if we discussed it and found a girl willing to join us and we were okay about ti there would be no problems. For me, all I need is him, all I want is him, but I dont think it is cheating bringing someone else in to a relationship. Who ever said that a relationship had to have only 2 people? I do see where people are coming from when they say "yeah I can go down on her but you cant have sex with her" I personally dont agree with it but honestly people can interpret sex, sexuality and relationships in many different ways than other people. You just have to respect their weird... messed up ways. _________________ I am having a BABY boy.

Since this has basically been hijacked and turned into a sexuality thread... I need to comment on the whole threesome thing...
when I first met my wife, we joked around with it and one day she asked me seriously.... (maybe it was a test, but...) I honestly said no. In my perspective, it would be a fantasy... but in the end that's all it ever is... Also I understand the perspective of a double standard so I thought about it and told myself... If I get her to bring another woman... someday she's gunna want me to bring another man... and the thought of her and another man (even if I am there) destroys and kills me... I know it's selfish, but that was my choice(and hers)... and that's what I want to love... so basically I told her that and that's when she hinted that I passed
I don't need a sex toy... I wanted a person by my side... forever... not just another person to screw and have follow me like a puppy dog... I always tell her.. We're in this together, I need you by my side not behind me... That's my perspective on a relationship... and that's my opinion, my own...
Don't ever put words in my mouth.. I understand other peoples sexuality and I respect it... that's their choice... this is mine... _________________ Seraph Haku

I agree with Mourny Lester, Beautiful.. just Beautiful.
I agree with you, that it is a fantasy... but some people take it to the next level and make it a reality. In some cases it RUINS the relationship... some people cant handle it. They think it will be exciting, but then just end up being jealous.. or in some cases they like it a little too much and cant seem to be satisfied with just their spouse anymore.
In other cases, it may make it better.. Ive heard of couples doing the threesome thing or the swinging thing to improve their sexual relationship. It may work for some... Just depends on the couple I guess.
I dont really have any strong feelings on it either way, I think every person and every couple is different, and you need to do what works for you.
I was watching this documentary last night on swinging.. ( I am obessed with sexual documentaries!) and saw so many couples and their different perspectives and views on it.. It was quite interesting.
I love hearing and learning about peoples sexuality and views.. so thank you everyone for sharing... _________________ www.youtube.com/cuddlebunnies
