Depo can actually STOP your period, or in some cases make you bleed for 3 months. I don't think it is depo. She also could be taking birth control pills instead of iron pills to regulate her period? |

The pill came out of what seems to be a plastic baggy. If it was birth control, why would she take it out of the packaging?
She can make it so that she gets her period exactly right for the day by using birth control. If she got a depo shot, pills may mess things up. Or maybe it was low enough to stop her from getting her period at a normal time and then she's following up with the pills.
Ah well. |

It's Daniel who suggests they're iron pills. She just seems to agree, but people dropped the issue on the boards. I've often wondered if she just agreed because iron pills are acceptable, but maybe they're actually BC, or diet pills (for the ceremony), or - which I've suspected, due to the fact that they're not in a bottle but in a little plastic bag - some kind of amphetimine or something similar... |

Why so much birth control speculation. Need I remind (as I already pointed out in this or another thread, I can't keep track anymore) she just had her first kiss? AFTER we found out she was taking pills? _________________ Check out: Funniest LG15-related episode... ever?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ6kBdNegfs |

I highly doubt it's Depo - ff they're trying to imply it is, it's poorly researched. My wife used to use it; it's a tiny shot, and wouldn't require such a large bandage; it hardly even requires a band-aid. Also, she had a bandage on her arm in both House Arrest and What's a Date?, which are 8 days apart. No injection requires a bandage for 8 days, implying that she's getting it more frequently than once a month. |

From Wikipedia:
Like 13, sometimes considered lucky or otherwise significant (as in the occult writings of Aleister Crowley and William S. Burroughs); see the 23 enigma.
23 Skidoo is a title of a poem in Aleister Crowley's book "The Book of Lies - Falsely so Called"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/23_%28number%29#In_religion |
You get an A.
While you're at it, look up:
Chaos magick
William S. Burroughs
Robert Anton Wislon
Discordianism
The Invisibles
All the research you guys are doing is very impressive. |

xD I find the whole birth control idea to be completely silly.
Though... When I first saw the video of her taking the pills, everyone said she was taking iron pills and I jokingly said, "I've got it! She's taking birth control!" but seriously, how could anyone even begin to think that's what it is? |

Both iron pills and birth control make sense.
Iron because if she is losing blood (ceremony practice?) or the diet is very strict, she needs the iron. It could also then be a multi vitamin.
Birth control makes sense because she may need to have her period on at a certain time and by not taking the sugar pills, she can delay her period. |

How can birth control pills be a silly idea? And yes, "Bree" just had her first kiss, so? There are other uses for these pills
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birth_control_pill
Non-Contraceptive Uses
The hormones in "the Pill" can be used to treat some medical conditions, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, anemia related to menstruation, and painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea). In addition, oral contraceptives are often prescribed as medication for mild or moderate acne.[22] The pill can also induce bleeding on a regular schedule for women bothered by irregular menstrual cycles and certain disorders where there is dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
I'm not saying those pills were indeed birth control ones, I don't even personally think so but who knows... |

I'm not sure that this has been pointed out already but the Autumnal Equinox was yesterday at 9:00 PMish not 4:00 this morning (that is UT time):

So the equinox had passed already when the video was posted and the celebration may have been last night - she just says it's this weekend. _________________ ..-. .-. . . / -... . . .-. Glug Glug |

What is this, a race? lol. The only reason I mentioned that quote from the Book of Law because it mentioned blood. I'm thinking the chartreuse tag either refers to blood or wine. Sound fimiliar right? Like part of the Eucharist... |

It sounds a little forboding when Bree says, "This is the last thing i will be attending with my parents before the Ceremony that i've been preparing for."
It sort of sounds like things won't go back to being the same... I won't go so far as to say she'll be sacrificed, but won't there be other religious gatherings she can attend with her parents after the ceremony? Why point out this is the *last* before this mysterious Ceremony?
i dunno. it just struck me as odd, and i thought i'd point it out. _________________ "Cake or death!" |

I agree that it's important. However, I don't have the know-how to analyze it, so I have to pick over the other stuff! _________________ FuturePeter is my make believe boyfriend.
