Robes is just his uneducated guess as to what they must wear for the "ceremony". It doesn't appear to be based on any inside knowledge just a naive and rather ignorant assumption. There isn't going to be any clues to come from looking into robes.

Yeah, that whole robes thing didnt really stick out to me at all. Possibly an "inside joke" sort of thing where Bree is the only one who knows what he's talking about?

I hope Daniel doesnt do anything rash in the park.

Oh well, it will be on before tomorrow night, my guess is.

yeah, we're just going to have to give the creators the benefit of the doubt that this has already gone down and bree and daniel are posting after the fact i suppose, which is also stupid. or maybe it's like how some holidays are "observed" on different days than they actually occur. i know i had my equinox fun last night. perhaps the LDS guess was more accurate than we knew at the time as they are a day late now.

Maybe it's talking about "how could you do what you did at that equinox ceremony yesterday?"

ooo i feel another park video coming on... so do we think cassie will do a drop at the "driving" video location... or at the park again. Probably not at the park.. too many people would be waiting for that... hmmmm... well glad to see daniel is back after a while with no videos/ or logins to youtube. Gosh i waste too much of my time on this stuff. Lol. i feel a little silly constantly refreshing my page to see if theres a new video or new post on here...

I took the robes comment to be a kind of sarcastic slap in the face to Bree. Kind of implying her religion is so freaky and out there that they probably wear robes like druids or whatnot.

Was I the only thought that Daniel was only saying it as a jab out of anger/annoyance?

He seemed extra hurt for some reason. Like, when he said "how could you" and such, it was really hurt and angry like.
Lots of emphasis on the "you" part as if it's happened to him before but he couldn't think of Bree doing it.

My guess is that this is expanding on the rift between Bree's parents (and religion) and Daniel. Bree's going to have to side with one or the other, and now that she's smooching Daniel, maybe she's being drawn away from her religious upbringing. This could lead to a big conflict before the ceremony where she has to choose... would be interesting!

As for the robe thing, I just figure it means people in her religion wear robes, or she wears robes when she "practices", however that's done.

He does have reason to be upset, sure. But he has to understand that Bree isn't used to betraying her parents' trust like this. She's not a bad kid, she seems very obedient actually aside from her few sneak-outs. He has to take that into account.

What 16 year old hasn't snuck out? Well, at 16 I definitely didn't. I always asked permission before I went places and I usually received a yes. Granted, I wasn't always well-behaved and I did some things that my parents may not have been happy about if they'd known, but I at least asked first. I wasn't raised in a strict household like Bree seems to be of course, but regardless, I never did any of those sort of things. My parents trusted me and I never broke that trust.

It just seems like Daniel wants more out of this than Bree does. Bree has said she doesn't like Daniel that way in an earlier video, Daniel had to have seen it - perhaps Bree doesn't want to compromise their friendship - and yet he still persists, asking her to break rules and sneak out, and he's kissed her! According to Bree's video about the kiss, she didn't seem to enjoy it. That could be cover up, of course but it seems she doesn't have the same things in mind that Daniel does. Now Daniel just comes off as a jerk. There's a lot at stake here. From Bree's perspective if she's caught, her parents will not trust her any longer not to mention they could be worried about Bree compromising her position in this "ceremony" she's going to be in. Bree may even be worried about this and having second thoughts, hence her wanting to cancel last minute. The better part of her judgement won out.

We the audience know Bree is possibly in danger and we want her to get out before it's too late [alright maybe not everyone but I'd say a majority of us are rooting for sweet Bree], and it's possible that Daniel's interference may eventually be what saves her life but currently he just comes off as a big raging dick.
