A thought just came to me:

The recent video pretty much comes out and recognizes CiW as a Breeniverse entity, just not the same entity she was presenting herself as. It seems that in the official Breeniverse, Bree's Cassie really IS behind CiW, but instead of being a ghost, is a cheeky and a bit mean-spirited teenager who pulled an elaborate prank.

I've mentioned it before, but since OpA (clearly canon and in the Breeniverse now) started off toying with and gamejacking CiW, the. by default (or retcon) it must also recognize the existence of CiW the username. "Cassie tells lies"... and in the Breeniverse, indeed she did.

cassieiswatching exists in the Breeniverse, and it can be inferred from Bree's anecdote that her old friend Cassie also exists as the user behind it.

If CiW's PMs are up to it and they play it right, it seems that they do have the opportunity to introduce a character into the canon through that means, which will either have to be recognized, or retconned out.

Because the cassieiswatching username is recognized, they can stick in a girl or an actress and be like, "Hey Bree... this is Cassie. Haha, you caught me" and she would have plenty of canon-weight to mess with the plot.

Maybe this was done on purpose, or maybe the Creators accidentally left a loophole for CiW's PMs to potentially take advantage of. Sure, it would definitely NOT be the same creepy, dead Cassie, but I'm sure the project would be interesting if it had the same PMs on board.

i think cassieiswatching, like OpA, was originally fan based, and for one reason or another the creators couldn't get them to collaborate. a LOT of time has passed since the last cassieiswatching video, and the creators have noticed that this spin-off is kind of leaving us fans with unanswered questions. they don't want to keep us in the dark, yet they don't have access to the cassieiswatching account. so, though bree's latest video, they kind of give us some closure.

we can say "oh, bree says cassie was always just a prankster. she's an old friend of bree's but that's about all the significance she has right now." but given their controversial falling out (he said she said...is bree telling the truth? was cassie afraid of her religion? did bree stop talking to her because of the prank calls?) we can keep on the back burner of our mind that cassie might show up in the future. it also gives cassieiswatching a loop hole to suddenly reappear if they take the opportunity (although the account holders haven't logged on since they posted the last vid Sad

)

i liked the cassieiswatching vids. it freaked me out during my 2am shifts at work. it's what got me interested in actually coming to this site and seeing what lg15 and the ARG is all about. before that i just watched lonelygirl15 and danielbeast and gemmers19 on youtube. Very Happy

It was just such a drastic change from the live drops and videos that made up the game before that. It seemed like a stretch to change that drastically, ya know?

I missed most of Frank, but I get the gyst of it. I thought it was pretty clever... especially cause the PMs were pretty hardcore about staying in character. If I remember correctly, Frank's blogs were going on for a bit of time before his "reveal".

Ok, I know that I've asked this before, but I still don't know the technical connection between OpAphid's Cassie, and CiW. I know the whole gamejacking thing, but was Op referring to the CiW Cassie, or did they invent their own. I mean, who was that girl in the early Op vids supposed to be? And, if that girl in the early vids was supposed to be Cassie, and Op is now Canon, wouldn't that Cassie be canon by default?

Has anyone brought up a possible connection between Bree's Uncle Franklin and CiW's Frank? That may be a stretch, but I type whatever is on my mind these days.
