In the latest video ("Mystery Movies: 12/23/06), something jumped out at me. At the end of this video, Bree states, “Sometimes a coincidence is just that.”

I wonder what this implies.

Does it have to do the clues/leads that sometimes lead viewers off on a tangent to wild speculation, yet lead nowhere (and I am sure provide much fun, knowledge and engagement for the sleuthers)?

Does it use NikkiBower's interest in Nancy Drew as well as Bree's stated interest as an example (or not an example) of this coincidence?

Does it have to do, simply, with the fact that Bree tells us that she did not find her dad’s message (or that she wants us to believe that)?

I just found this interesting and wondered what other folks thought about some of the coincidences that have come up recently.

I also liked when she said "I love stories where everything fits together in the end."

Like a message directly from the Creators: *Hint Hint* This really is all going somewhere...

which appeases my doubts.

Although I am not necessarily looking forward to the end of this series, it will be nice to look back and see which theories were right on.

Really, I am interested in people's perceptions about the coincidences that have come up and actualy worked out. The telephone number to the drycleaners/Bree's dad's message began as a coincidence of numbers that someone craftily developed into a theory that actually played out (or is in the midst of playing out).

It seems like some coincidence have led to theories.

Some of these theories have received much fan speculation and attention.

How many of these coincidences, which have led to theories, have turned out to be relevant so far?

For example, some theories (off the top of my head and there are many more) that people have come up with are as follows:

• Cassie as Bree's imaginary friend as referenced by Lucy's advice to Bree about having stuffed animal friends and the fact that Daniel doesn't seem to remember her (Coincidence or relevant? You be the judge)
  
  
• Crowley, the girl Daniel discussed with folks on the forum and the religion/order? (Coincidence or relevant? You be the judge)
  
  
• The white roses that appeared in the "Breakfast in Bed" video and that appeared on the wallpaper in at Jonas's house. And Gemma's wilting rose in her last video to Bree. (Coincidence or relevant? You be the judge)
  
  
• Bree's unconventional behavior in times of stress and the theories about the effects of certain drugs? (Coincidence or relevant? You be the judge)
  
  
• Daniel's "Breaking and Entering" video showing the storage space numbers as he is searching down the hall. (Coincidence or relevant? You be the judge)
  
  
• All the illuminati connections that must thrill trainer (especially when uncovered by others). (Coincidence or relevant? You be the judge)
  
  
• Daniel's enjoyment of Brian Vaughn's comic books as stated on his page and the way they have come up in others' videos. (Coincidence or relevant? You be the judge)
  

(Regardless of where the theories go, I think it is neat when people research, make connection and learn new things regardless of the impact in the story. This is one of the things that initially attracted me to this series.)

I like trainers' list What Do We Know So Far? - Summary of Clues and Events. However, I am curious about the step before we know what is true.

I am just wondering if there is some kind of pattern in these coincidences, clues and theories.

I like the idea that Bree pretends not to find the messege from her father, and went off to meet him.
She wouldn't just say, 'hey I find the message and went off the meet dad'

She obliosly haven't stole from Jonas to go off live a happy life with a new car.
And her father says he would explain everything. Whe Bree finds out what's going on, she will tell DB and Jonas.
