Honestly, the more i see of the videos, the more convinced I am that Cassie was Brees Imaginary friend. Think about it
Bree says Cassie made the phone calls, yet bree got in trouble for it, and she never mentions her parents calling Cassies parents and Cassie getting in trouble. She does say she stopped talking to Cassie at that point.
Daniel is Brees best friend, yet has no idea who Brees other best friend, Cassie is. Weird? I think so. Daniel is very observant, I think he wold notice this girl that Bree hung out with so much.
Cassies was afraid of Brees religion, Freaked out by it. So she had to go away. It seems like a possibility that Bree created Cassie in her mind to voice her concerns about the religion, and then when her parents convinced her not to question the order or their beliefs Cassie had to go away. Bree had to stop feeling that way.

Ya, I completely agree with this theory. I remember I used to do the same thing (sort of). I was very shy, so I had a lion imaginary friend that was courageous for me.
Cassie totally = Bree. _________________ This world will never be what I expected.

This is something that definitley seems true and can be potentially ionteresting if used in the story later. |

But an imaginary friend is okay unless you actually believe she's real, as Bree seems to. She was puzzled when Daniel didn't remember her. |

I still like the idea of Cassie being a split personality. But the imaginary friend idea is just as good. |

DARN TOOTIN' ... (darn this language watching..i feel wierd semi-cursing in this board...)
this theory..is so there Holly. It makes complete sense. I really really like it.
And the great thing about it, is that even if they didn't think about that, and the creators were stuck on this cassie story-line...they could use this theory easily, because it's SOOO realistic. It makes perfect sense. _________________ kelly

I think Holly's onto something with this theory.
Cassie may be one of Bree's split personalities. She could have also turned out to be nothing more than an imaginary friend.
It seems to me, that having an imaginary friend, though, is the first step towards having a split personality. It just never generates unless it goes too far. Thinking of it that way, though... at what point does it 'switch from being an imaginary friend, into having another whole consciousness inside of you?
Maybe my own imagination is running away with ideas. Actually that's most likely true. But if this sounds like it could make sense to you, please send your comments! _________________ ~ kageyuki... aka Agent Wasabi
