Second, there is almost no way that his supposed wife would be typing on a computer that her husband died on--I'm assuming here that Frank's death probably involved at least minimal transmission of bodily fluids. And finally, if Frank just keeled over and slammed his head down on the keyboard, the resulting message would likely be gibberish featuring large quantities of the same letter/s. Think about it: if you press your head to your keyboard, does it randomly select letters from all over the keyboard and enter them, or does the computer get stuck on the area around the H or D or something and enter those letters a million times?
Side note: If Frank's wife left him because he was hearing voices, then how likely is that same woman to come back and leave a nice thank you note when she discovers that her husband has been communicating with a lot of other crazy people who think they hear voices too? The last thing I would expect that woman to do is try to maintain some kind of contact with the people who were (in her opinion) exacerbating Frank's illness. |
These are all very good points, in my opinion. I think it is a message. _________________ know the truth - www.wm3.org

Man, if this thing is this hard to solve and we put all our remaining time into it only to discover that it reads "RIGHTHEREABOVEYOU" or some other typically vague, mysterious-sounding-but-not-very-helpful business I will riot. [/vent] |

If you take Tomen's alphabetized rearrangement of the original gobbledy

and convert it to a string of numbers where each letter's frequency is represented (A=1, B=3, C=2, etc.) you get this:
13251351122311312211213
... which almost looks like ASCII, but I tried
132 51 35 112 23 113 122 112 13
in binary, hex and oct and it all translates to gibberish. |

Hi all. I've been following the CIW "project" for a while, but this is my first post. I was reading about the connection to Hole lyrics in Frank's last blog post, and decided to Google "hole "right there above you"", because that sounded like something that might be a lyric. The only hit for that search is this:
http://www.outofbodytravel.org/images/The_Mysteries_of_the_Redemption_-_A_Treatise_on_Out-of-Body_Travel_and_Mysticism.pdf
(Warning to people on slow connections: 700+ page PDF behind that link)
It seems to be someone's treatise on out-of-body experiences. It's very long, and very inscrutable, but it looks like the kind of thing that might be a Cassie clue. Unfortunately, not only is that PDF file large, but the site which it's part of is huge and filled with similarly...odd?... text. (It reminds me a bit of TimeCube.com). If there's a clue buried in there, it could take a while to dig out.
I have a feeling this is just a complete coincidence, but I thought I'd point it out. |

Ok, I'm trying to help restore hope that there was something important in this message, and I was wondering exactly how you guys got that out of those letters when there were no Is or Rs. What code did you use? _________________ My name is Nicole and I'm a Cassie-holic.
