|
|
While I watched Daniel and Jonas sat in the parking garage, waiting for Bree and her father to return to the car, I was wondering if he took Bree for a brief visit with her Mom.
It can be assumed ther Bree's mother was hiding out with her Dad, wherever he was before the meeting... or can it?
Maybe her mother's location and apparent absense are irrelevant at this point. I'm just wondering if there could be a plot twist involving her Mom, soon. |

The order has mind controlled Bree's dad. They ordered him to go out and bring Bree in. However, they did hold Bree's mom for insurance. If her dad does not do everything they told him to do, Bree's mom will come to a very bad end. |

That's a good theory, Ralf. Makes sense! Then Bree and her two knights in shining armor (picture Daniel as a knight ) will have to pull a rescue.
But if her parents had escaped, before she met with her Dad, then that begs the question of whether her Mom was in on the ambush ... and whether she will try to contact Bree, soon. |

I am not sure about Bree's mom it seems that there hasn't been as much focus on her as much as Bree's dad. Maybe she will be a key part of a vid in the future but i really do not know. You would think there would be more about her since she is just as important to Bree as her dad. Hmm.. very interesting i actually have not thought about this but i certainly wouldn't call her irrelevant. Good observation annie. _________________ LLP is in the house fo rizzle.

Thank you, livelong!
Since previous episodes have had info that characterized Bree's Mom as outspoken and feisty (though with possible sinister overtones, from Gemma's paraphrase of her "should be shot like a dog"), I thought she would've had more of a role in this, but maybe she will...
Remember how, way back when Bree was trying to get more freedom to socialize, she mentioned her Mom usually sided with her in arguments over discipline with her Dad?... then, in "Mystery Movies" Bree says that her Mom usually "wasn't too happy" when she found out her dad had taken her to a spy movie?... maybe this si a minor detail, but it seems like her usually--more-lenient Mom was not as fond of the cloak & dagger stuff as Bree and her dad are.
How this relates to recent developments (if it does), I don't know! |

That is because it hits too close to home. Bree's mom is the head of the order. |

I was just thinking about this. I hope that Bree's mom is still hiding out someplace, and the Order hasn't gotten to her yet, although that seems like too much to hope for.
Where is Gemma's comment about shooting her like a dog? In one of the Op videos? |

No, Gemma was telling a story about Bree's mother saying someone should be shot... Argh, going to have to find it now.

Sorry about not being clear about that!
Gemma says this in "Living In London", which is posted on the right sidebar, before it was shown that Gemma is canon.
If you click on episode 0058 "Hi Gemma", it will show right at the top of the sidebar.
Gemma says that it was in a Philosophy class that both her mother and Bree's mother were in. They were discussing David Hume, an atheist philosopher and Gemma says that Bree's Mom stood up and said (not an exact quote) that anyone who tries to thwart the rights of others should be put down like a dog. (When I re-listened, I noticed it wasn't "shot", sorry about that).
It seemed like a really strong reaction that might've foreshadowed something sinister in her Mom's personality and reactions.
edit: just saw your post Sarah. Thanks for also looking that up! |

Thanks annie! i had forgotten about that being revealed about her mom's personality and that really makes me wonder now why she hasn't shown up even more so. Its an injustice i tell ya! _________________ LLP is in the house fo rizzle.

I think it is possible that Bree's mom is in trouble. Bree's dad called this meeting to "explain everything" to Bree. Maybe "everything" involved his wife in some way or another. I hope Bree tells us what he said to her... but she probably won't. bleh. _________________ "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. so they disagree. _________________ kelly
