Unfortunately, most of these "secrets" turn out to be just so much banal claptrap. Does anyone seriously think all these channellers have access to anything but their own subconscious imaginings?

That would have to depend on whether or not these specific channellers are focusing on 'imaginings' of reality or falseness.

Like forgeries of oil paintings, looking back on the channellings of those who lived 50 or 100 years ago makes it painfully obvious how influenced they were by the environment of the times, as it becomes just as painfully obvious how art forgers were influenced by the artistic standards and styles of their time. There is not one example of a channeller discovering new information that stood the test of time. They invariably turn out to be at odds with the most basic discoveries of later times.

Everythings been done or thought before...what true thought is actually 'original' or new? Everything has always been taken from something else or an assortment of others. This is no new discovery.

They may not have looked forced but they are in a nice suburban neighborhood. Would you want your neighbors all up in your business if you came screaming out of your house and get the Order all mad at you. No.. I wouldnt either.
haha I said all up in your business.

OH! The thing out brainwashing and responding when a certain word is said is really neat. Think if when you were little your parents did that? Creepy.

haha just noticed that..."all up in your business"--sweeet. I also think that people who have full reverence for the power of the Order (such as Bree's parents) might not even try to fight back or run. Someone made the good point that running, if unsuccessful, could only make the Order more angry. which I suppose raises the stakes for Bree...

I am new so forgive me if this is unkind or out of place...but I find these heavily "nested" quote blocs difficult to follow and extremely repetitive; especially when followed by just a short message afterward.

Am I missing something of value in this?

I don't like it when the quotes are long either. There is usually only a need for it if your responding to something a little further back in the thread or a specific point.

I found it rather comical when the quotes get to be a page long...lol. But yes, its only purpose is for responding to someone specifically, like so.
