And here is terraserver's satellite photo of the LAX Hilton:

On close inspection of this photo, there does appear to be an alley between the hotel and the parking structure to the east that resembles the one in Brother's video.

It isn't conclusive, but without actually going to either place, I would now venture to speculate that Brother's vid was shot here, and that gunshot heard at Sherman Oaks couldn't have been Gemma being shot. I hope I'm wrong.

My theory,

We are supposed to believe that Brothers video and the LG15 video were the same locaation. What gave it away that the LG15 location was a Westfeild Mall was the flags at the end of the video, I'm guessing that we were not supposted to notice that.

The Tachyon video did have intentional identification landmarks. I think that we were supposted to believe that the location of both videos was the LAX Hilton.

There were obvious correlations in the two videos, the backdrop of a parking garage, the heart beat sound at the end of the LG15 video and the heart beat in Brother's video, and the bright white light at the end of both. Both had the suggestion that someone was targeted if not shot.

Gemma was the target, I think if someone was shot it was Gemma.

It seems like a gaff that they gave away the actual location of the LG15 video.

It wouldn't be the first time that they made such a gaff. Remember Greg Goodfried's name on Lucy's computer?

I think either Bree or her dad was the one to be shot, and I only think Bree was shot because of one screencap I found--I can't post it, I don't know how--but it was right after the gun was fired and Bree looks (from what I can tell from the blur that is her face) like she's in pain, and she bends really far backward and I think if I'd gotten the cap a millisecond later she'd have been caught by Daniel, because she was definitely about to fall.

But I also think that there's a strong possibility that it was Dad who shot the gun, because he looked like he was pulling something out of his pocket. Did he shoot himself by mistake? Why else would Bree scream? We have to realize that Bree probably wouldn't have sounded so anguished when she screamed if it wasn't either Bree herself, Dad, Jonas, or Daniel who was shot.

And this one is *really* far out there, and I really don't think this is it, but what if the gunshot was actually a (very unceremonial if truth be told) execution? Dad obviously defied The Order, so what if they have a death penalty for what they consider to be treason? I'm almost sure I heard a male voice scream "I'll hold him!" as Bree, Jonas, and Daniel ran away, followed by the gunshot. So maybe they just had permission to shoot him on sight? I dunno, like I said, that one's really far-fetched.

could it be an allusion? I mean, Bree had to make the decision between her religion and Daniel right? And here she is faced with that decision again...I could be wrong about the My Difficult Decision...I have been really busy so I haven't had a chance to rewatch it...
