Hate to be rude but this donation thing is really bothering me. What kind of people are these so-called creators? With the sudden popularity of LG15, it should not be too hard to find sponsors. Maybe they should hire a marketing student. _________________ Founder of the Official I HATE GEMMA FAN CLUB

The idea of donations came from the fans, not the Creators. _________________ It's STILL all connected... |

PayPal locked me out of my account because they said somebody tried to hack my account. Super. |

A donation is NOT tax-deductible (unless LG15 is organized as a non-profit, which is unlikely and ill-advised).
That said, PLEASE do the financially smart thing of tying donations to plot developments or user requests.
For instance, you can set up different meters. Once $10,000 is raised, Bree and Daniel will have an on-camera kiss. A different donation option can be done under the guise of flying Gemma to America to help Bree. And so on. . .
This is NOT about compromising the integrity of the storytelling. If a plot point is likely to happen, this is a clever way to make it interactive for the viewer/contributor AND financially rewarding for The Creators. It would also be a good way to weigh public opinion as to what viewers (the ones who will also pony up the greenery for DVDs, t-shirts, MMORPGs, etc.) are jonesing for. |

<milo_went> at the end of a video, bree could have shout outs - $50/a piece. "Dr. quest is so GROOVY!" "JayHenry, The answer is YES!" "mark, i really did like those cookies! miles made me say that!" |
seriously, i can't imagine the creators ever going for this. i'm all for them figuring out a way to make this sustainable, but not this way. _________________ “Can't repeat the past? Why of course you can!” |

Glad somebody posted here in April! LOL I wasn't paying attention to this area in March. I was just watching the videos back then. I didn't think to look at old posts. Now I'll pay attention to those too.
By the way, euros are covered by PayPal. They are international and thus can process many of the worlds monetary systems, Also, three of my brothers have been using PayPal for years also. None of them have had security problems.
One final and then I'll shut up. I think there may be some people who would prefer to set up a monthly donation. Is that available to those who don't have a PayPal account? |

I've been selling using Paypal since 1999. They offer insurance against chargebacks for free. They offer an outstanding money market account. I've been thrilled with their security measures, as well. _________________ ~Welcome to LG-15- PM me for help!~
