Why yes, yes she does.

I just got 16 new books and I don't know where to start. I just finished "Paint it Black" by Janet Fitch (author of White Oleander) it was pretty much awesome.

What book are you currently reading?

Hey hey now. I'm sorry, I take it back. Your mom DOES NOT like to read, better?

But seriously, I'm currently reading my favorite book of all time, Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco. I'll probably follow that up with the Dune Chronicles as I'm a huge Herbert fan and I read them the way other people read that g-dfawful, tired-ass, overrated Lord of the Rings. Soon I hope to grab some PK Dick, I already have some of his work but I'd like to get more. I've also heard so much about Pynchon that I'm rather tempted to grab Gravity's Rainbow and see what the hullabaloo's all about.

Smile

Lord of the rings. Bleh.

Gravity's Rainbow is one of my 16. I was thinking about reading it first.

I'll be honest, I like reading the appendices, but the novel itself lulls me into a coma. Except when they start singing. Then I just get angry and am overwhelmed with a grand desire to punch infants in the face.

punching children is always a good time.
House of Leaves made me want to throw children at other children... even the appendices.
