I like Dry, but mostly because I currently have several people in my life going through various stages of alcoholism right now, so a lot of it made things a little clearer

i liked Dry as well, but I can't put my finger quite on why...I suppose it was just nice to see the story go forward. I saw it as a logical connection to Running with Scissors, which was nice for someone who was actually upset when she finished the first memoir because she didn't want it to be over.  |

| I'm famous for just picking up a book that I've already read, opening it up anywhere and just diving in. Right now, I'm working my way through the Kushiels Dart Trilogy for the bazillionth time. |

I can understand that, I thought it lacked the quick wit of running.

I think that it made up for it with soul though. I actually cried a few times while reading (I'm a big baby, and yes, I cry at Hallmark commercials!)

After finishing all the books in the Tudor Series by Phillippa Gregory, I'm going to start in on them. Kushiel's Justice comes out in June!  |
