I wasn't part of CIW. I caught on to LG15 as Cassie was going down, so she and I never bonded.
To me, it seems like there were many people who were very attached to her who felt seriously shafted when things went south. Now any time her name comes up, they immediately discredit that she might be a legitimate character.
Maybe she is, maybe she isn't, but there are still too many "canon" references to Cassie for me to write her off. I think if one stands back and looks at the story objectively, it's pretty clear there is a strong possiblility she is a substantial part of the plot.

We discredit her because the Creators did...not something they did with Oppy or any other canon part of this project. I'd love if she came back...but what we get annoyed at is people constantly claiming she's back when she isn't.

one thing i just thought of, relating to Cassie...
Cassie is Watching
...she had that name way before the Watchers came about.
Maybe Cassie really IS a watcher?
Well, thats what I'd be assuming IF she was Canon.

I think, what you're seeing, is people being very careful to keep LG15's Cassie and CiW's Cassie separate. The Creators wanted it that way when the second CiW video came out. So, when someone says they were a "cassie-head," they specifically mean CiW, not any other Cassie that may or may not be LG15 canon.

Maybe Uncle Franklin was code for Bree's dad Frank Breekowski (Breeington?) Maybe he didn't really get shot but he shot himself? And he's been hearing voices, and Bree's mom left us a note... *hyperventilates*

edit: Just to clarify, this video includes the two crime scene photos. The Creators didn't react until after the fans did, which leaves some to believe that "The Creators Lie," as CiW would have put it.
