Although I am not an advocate of booty popping, I do find the term booty popping most hilarious. This is especially true for me when the 'g' is left out of the verb and this practice is referred to as booty poppin' (as in the title of this thread, which, by the way, lured me here.)

As a matter of fact, I find many verbs without the 'g' pleasurable, such as:
Where's Mommy? She gone drinkin'.
Holy %#$*! Stop your cussin'.
What's all the commotion? The neighbors are feudin' again.

When used together, they are almost magical:
Look at Grandma! Every New Year's Eve it's the same thing; she gets all the attention with her drinkin' and booty poppin'.

My mother always uses the phrase "chilling" and when you say that you are just "chilling" and accentuating the ing it sounds quite off.
