Though it's not something to congratulate someone for, I applaud Bree for maintaining her composure while speaking to us; that must have been very tough (sidenote: I also applaud Jessica's performance as Bree, and agree that it is her best one to date). Here are my theories as to the identity of Bree's real parents:
* Higher ranking members of the Order
* Other Order members, same level as Bree's adopted parents
* Lower ranking members of the Order (gotta cover all the bases  )
* Biotechnologists who created Bree in a lab
So I suppose Bree's adopted dad might be dead  . But which mom was Bree talking about in her video, her real mom or her adopted mom? If the latter, perhaps Bree doesn't want to talk to her because Bree's adopted dad informed her that her adopted mom somehow tipped off Bree's pursuers to Bree's location. Or, Bree's adopted mom strongly favored her daughter's involvement in the ceremony and Bree's adopted dad had reservations about it. Or as an alternative to the first "mom theory", Bree's adopted mom fully cooperated with her "captors", telling them everything they wanted to know (Bree's friends, stuffed animals, relationship with her adopted father, etc.). If Bree was talking about her real mom, I guess that her real mom didn't really love her, and perhaps thought of her as a title (Goddess, Savior, Princess, what-have-you) rather than a daughter.

First thoughts:
Best acting by Jess yet, good job!
I am SOOO happy to have confirmation of something.
Bree doesn't want to talk to her mom, making me think that she is the cause of Bree not being with her real parents....like maybe she stole Bree when she was born?

I'm starting to wonder, though, just how honest he *could* be with her about the Order. It's starting to sound as though he was in the dark about a lot of things that Bree's mom, possibly, was not. Remember Gemma saying how well-respected Mom was in the community? Yeah, Gemma's turned out to be full of crap, but possibly some of the stuff she said was true.

This kind of brings up a matrixy feeling to me, how the humans were raised in the eggs just to serve a purpose of energy. Maybe Bree is like that and the order steals babies from the hospital giving it to order parents to raise and not get close or attached to, only to kill the kids in the end.
ok that sounds a little off the deep end lol

Or maybe the order members adopted babies that were given up voluntarily? Maybe a reason why they didn't feel bad about injecting them with things and lying to them. the children were only there to further the growth of the order? Maybe that made sense... |

I mentioned it too when I talked about the Illuminati stealing babies from hospitals and that it wouldn't be hard for him to do whatever he's done to her medically if she's not really his.
