I am trying to create a video petiton on behalf of all YouTubers to the rest of the World.

If you would like to participate, make a short video response raising a fist for Darfur, so show solidarity for all our brothers and sisters dying every day in Sudan.

After I have enough responses, I shall cut them together into one long video petition to be sent to the UN and each member country's government.

The song title is a little optimistic with 10,000...but I wanna see as many as possible...so pass the message on.

The world has been a little slow on the uptake with the Darfur issue, but hopefully Boh3m3's live 24hr chat marathon enlightened many people.

You help with this project would be very much appreciated

I thought it was inappropriate and tacky how you advertised for your campaign on the in-game YouTube pages (gemma, tachyon, etc.)

I have however, also posted the messages on other pages unrelated to LG15. It may look a little out of place, but that is the idea! It gets noticed. I would not agree at it being tacky however...

I am not selling anything or saying "come see a vid of me dance!", I am trying to do something worthwhile and I felt it necessary to utilise the comments on several well viewed channels for it to be noticed.

As for them being "in-game" pages...they are only "in-game" if you are participating in the ARG...I am not into the ARG as it is only exclusive to those in certain areas of the US (how is someone from the other side of the pond gonna go retrieve a drop?? (Unless they are real dedicated/rich!!).

For me and many others, the LG15 channels are no more than a soap-opera and many see the comments sections therein as advertising space.

Anyways, everytime someone watches one of the vids on Rev, the producers get revenue from it! (must be a hell of a lot of money by now!) So just by posting a call to action for YouTubers on said channel is nither inappropriate or tacky.

Actually...this site is only partly for the ARG. Mostly it's a place for LG15 fans to come. So, you don't like LG15 and are merely using this venue? While I appreciate the situation you are drawing attention to, I would not encourage spamming forums to get your point across.

I think what you did was fine. You posted where you are supposed to post so there are not off-limit subjects as long as you aren't breaking forum rules. Your post is intelligent and for a good cause, unlike a lot of junk, harassments, ignorant, rude, vulgar, condenscending, and just plain mean comments that a lot of people make. Very Happy

In case it escaped anyone's attention....i posted in the "off the cuff" section! The place to post messages "off-topic"!

I enjoy watching the LG15 vids! They are fantastic, and I have posted "on-topic" elsewhere! Hence I am an "LG15 fan" trying to draw attention to a cause...spamming has shades of grey...as I said before, I am not selling anything...I am just trying to get support!?

If I had posted a vid saying "come see me dance, it's funny!"

That would have been fine!?

As for everywhere??? If you mean, on every character YouTube channel then yes...I was (at least until my messages were replaced by more comments about whatpeople want to do to bree!)

I posted a messaege in an "off-topic" section of a fourm of which I happen to already be a member!!

I have no intention of leaving the forum, even if I have something to say that is not related to LG15, as it will be posted in the correct section!

And would people stop calling it "spamming"!!! I am asking people to watch a video...not buy my beenie babies!!! Jeeze!!!
