It is confusing. Basically it's a form of brainwashing. When the person begins to doubt everything they were taught this "program" in their head that has been dormant "wakes up" and tries to get the person back to where they were before.
All of the "things" (castle, coffin, etc.) are just symbols of the different pieces of the program doing it's job by "attacking",taking over, or "killing" all the alters (other personalities) that are trying to deny what they've learned since they were created.
So, Bree being really confused right now could be because there is this huge battle going on in her head between what she was taught and what she is beginning to believe. She is starting to realize everything she was EVER taught was just BS.
Anyway, my whole purpose of this was to show that maybe Bree's dad said something to her, knowing it was a code word/phrase, that would either cause her to wake up and smell the coffee or go back to innocent, believing Bree. Not sure which at this point. It could have been the "Powell's Dry Cleaners" phrase for all we know!

Thanks, I get it now... at first I thought it was a computer program, then a game... where did you find out about this?

Hehehe.....I had to read it about 4 times myself! Here is the link. It's about halfway down the page. It is literally like programming a computer, except the mind is the computer. There is a ton of info but pretty interesting stuff!

I've been thinking about this, too, as I notice that Lucy might be more deeply connected to Bree's life than we originally thought. Perhaps Lucy instructed Bree's "mom" to care for Bree, and then Bree's mom met Bree's dad and decided that he would be a very good candidate for a father figure. When it came time for the ceremony, Bree's dad eventually had second thoughts and refused to help Lucy and Bree's mom. Lucy escorted Bree's parents to an Order compound and jailed Bree's dad while working with Bree's mom to retrieve Bree. Bree's dad tried to contact Bree, then met her at a secret location and told her the truth about who she is. Lucy and Bree's mom found out about this (perhaps through wiretapping?), and Lucy and an assistant followed Bree and her dad and waited for a good opportunity to kidnap Bree and kill her father. And at the moment, they have accomplished one of those goals.

Maybe Lucy is some sort of enforcer. She comes in to clean a mess before it becomes too big. Since Bree was having second thoughts about the ceremony, she came in to "persuade" Bree to continue (befriending her, taking interest in her puppet friends). It was almost like she was keeping Bree in that pliable, child like state she seems to become when things get hard emotionally. She was obviously keeping tabs on Daniel. She is in cahoots with Gemma who was also trying to influence Bree and Daniel to go home. And when it came time, to get rid of a problem (if it was her in the vid), she seemed to have no problem taking someone out and trying to forcebly kidnap Bree.
Thanks for the welcome Luv2Skydive! It's interesting ideas like yours, Kanazaka, ex mechanic, and so many others, that get a lurker like me to finally chime in my 2 cents. Thanks!
P.S. your Princess Programming really brings out some questions on how and why Bree was controlled. Maybe the order did put it there to control her, and then her "dad" tweaked it with an "escape button" so to speak? Perhaps he was never really into the whole thing from the get go? |

I thought I should just put this out there...
I'm going along with the whole Bree's "parents" were chosen to raise her thing and I think that Bree's father may be in trouble for some of his methods. I also think that maybe her "mother" ratted him out. Bree did mention that her "mother" didn't like when she would spend time with her "father". Now, she didn't say that outright, but she said that her "mother" didn't like her and her "father" spending time watching spy movies together. Now, I'm thinking that her "father" started to become close to Bree and tried to protect her and maybe her "mother" was trying to stick with the plan. That would make sense since now her "father" is dead and after talking to her "father" she doesn't want anything to do with her "mother". I know thats very basic but I'm still trying to get all the information sorted! |

Here's my take:
1. I think Mom did set up dad from what Bree said about 'not going to be talking to her'
2. I don't think they were ever really married I think think they were 'partners' working together for the Order
3. Not sure.
4. Maybe her parents were the scientists that created her if she is an experiment
5. If Bree had real parents maybe that's where the whole Cassie thing comes from. Maybe Cassie was the name given to her by her real parents.
6. Its been hinted at that Bree's fake parents were never married (they didn't wear rings). If that is so, maybe they abducted her b/c its hard for an unmarried couple to adopt.

Tach is one of Op's alter egos, representing her mischievious, rebellious side. Tach seems to be the strongest of the bunch so far, but like all alters, she's not a complete person and can't hold onto control permanently. There has to be some melding of personas if a true personality is to emerge. I think the inside of Op's head is a battleground right now, with enmities and alliances being made. I'm starting to lean toward Lady Lazarus being the original girl. She started out with a bunch of primal screams, getting longer and longer as she grew in strength, and finally got enough of the pain and horror out of her system to start thinking about what she should do now. Her video Hunt seems to be about rolling Op back, but the whole thing's kinda vague and blurry. Everything's Brown is about betrayal and loyalties, and shows that she's beginning to listen to her sister's attempts to help her re-integrate herself. What's interesting about this is that Op can't be pure enemy - she'll have to be included in the process or it's bound for failure.

We need to find out more about Bree's mom, definately. I wonder if she is higher than a deacon or not. She held a large role in the community...perhaps she did set up Bree's "dad"
