I'm thinking that when she says that Bree tell lies she is talking about what Bree said about her (Cassie) But Bree never really said anything bad about Cassie so...  |

In "Swimming," Bree said kids made fun of Cassie a lot.
edit: Bree did talk to her when others didn't, it seems. |

| Maybe when Bree was nice to Cassie, Cassie thought she was being fake because everyone else was mean to her. Maybe Cassie just doesn't trust Bree. |

| Maybe because Bree was misunderstood and harassed by kids in school (the asking-the-teacher-so-many-questions-thing), Cassie misinterpreted Bree's intentions? Maybe Bree was mean? Hmmmm. |
