Did OPAPHID use the video camera to help determin Bree's suitableness for the ceremony?
Does this have anything to do with why Daniel was allowed to be in her room with the door closed, presumably while OP observed how they interactaed? Your thoughts? Let's discuss.
I noticed that as soon as Bree is picked for the ceremony they try to get rid of Daniel, even sending Lucy to befriend Bree and come between them. So once they have decided she is the one they don't need him around any more to help them decide?
Does this tie into her asexuality? OP must have observed that there was no hanky panky going on in either Bree or Daniel's bedroom.

I get what you're saying, but we don't really know how long the cameras have been there. They may have been placed years ago, or they may have been placed only after Bree ran away.
And it doesn't explain the cameras in Daniels bedroom or how they got there. |

| I don't think so. I would think that if Bree's mom is high up in the Order, she would have the opportunity to observe her "daughter" to determine whether she had the necessary characteristics. I would think that Oppy didn't get involved until Bree started balking at participating in the ceremony. |

Okay, points taken but I have another question about the cameras. Why did the cameras in Daniel's room interfere with his cell phone? My video camera does not interfere with my cell phone. Was this to imply that his room was also bugged?
Do bugging devices in rooms mess up cell phones? I would think that would make them pretty useless. OP would be using a sophisticated enough device that it wouldn't interfere with a cell, I would assume, if it didn't want it's bugs to be detected.
Did they want Daniel to find the cameras?
They were supposedly house sitting in case Daniel or Bree went back home but did nothing to grab Daniel once he returned. They also seemed to not want Bree in the parking garage. Is this because by running away she 'violated her purity bond' and was now no longer suitable for the ceremony?
What were they looking for if their intent was not to grab people. They had a tracking device in Daniels car and presumably knew their wherabouts the whole time. They clearly didn't want to grab Bree and Daniel so what did they want? Did they hope Daniel and Bree would lead them somewhere?
ETA: Bree did lead them somewhere, to her father. But he couldn't have been their objective the whole time because, at least at first, he was in the custody of the order. Is there something else they are looking for that Bree can lead them to?

any wireless device and cell phones do not go well together. ever seen a taping of a television show? they always tell the audience to turn off their cell phones. not silent, turn off. that's because if a call comes in, the signal interferes with the signal between the wireless microphones and the sound board. a feedback like sound is produced.
the footage from the cameras were probably transmitted wirelessly to op. thus daniel would've either had some times of no cell phone signal when he was too close to the camera and the wireless transmitter, or heard a weird sound on his cell phone because the signals were interfering with each other. |

I don't remember that. When did he say it messed with his cell phone??
Also, he found the camera. So it couldn't have been very well hidden that it would have gone unnoticed for 18 years.

I didn't think it might have been there for 18 years, just that it might have been there before he and Bree went on the run (but obviously not if it interfered with his cell phone). He said it interfered with his cell in the video "Undisclosed Location". Having the order spying on him for 18 years would be a huge stretch. Having them spying on him while he was hanging out with Bree, notsomuchso.

I see what you mean. I wonder if he'll ever tell us what his "undisclosed location" was.
So maybe the "watchers" were just trying to make sure she remained "pure" since she had run away from the cameras with which they usually watched.

I'm not sure, but the letter Bree's parents left her was brought up by Gemma, and then there was the ransacking of the motel room the day Bree was shown reading the letter. In the "P. Monkey Returns" video it looked like a very large tag or a folded up letter was inside Bree's safari hat. (shrugs) I can't imagine what could be so important in the letter that it overshadows the significance of recent revelations. Unless, the letter contained instructions or information on the drugs/medicine/ect stuff, which her father had something to do with.
