OK so...yeah...I now realize there are two different pages to discuss the latest, long-awaited OpA video, and this one is specifically for the ARG...I have been following this since the beginning and I should know better  sorry for posting this in both places...Well, in a nutshell, the idea I have had is that maybe Op was wanting to catch the kids in the act on video, Daniel finding the camera was not according to plan, but his latest video was good enough proof for the Order that Bree is blossoming into a right proper Scarlet Woman for the Beast. I said it better in the other post, but whatever. |

Personally, I'm highly skeptical that the purpose of all of OpA's manuevering has been to get Bree and Daniel in the sack. In fact, I think Bree and Daniel are peripheral to the real story developing here. Bree might be directly involved in OpA's war, but I don't think the war's being waged over her virginity. After all, Tachyon spent a lot of time trying to keep Bree and Daniel together and free of OpA's spies. If OpA truly did want to get them together in the PG-13 sense, then Tachyon's goal would have been to separate them. It doesn't look to me like that was her plan when she helped Daniel elude the watchers.

| Well, truthfully I had never ventured into the seedy in this whole series (remember back when everyone was screaming to have Bree raped and sacrificed or eating human flesh at the "ceremony"?) and I know anything to do with teenage sex is pretty much out of the PG realm, but man, this Op vid has me really scratching my head over it. Really, why were the hidden cameras in the bedrooms? Why not the kitchen or living room? Sure seems like the Order was looking for SOME kind of intimate footage. |

If you recall, it is the bedrooms in which Bree and Daniel both revealed their thoughts and knowledge to the world. It is where they let loose, and were themselves. I have a feeling that Op wanted to know what they knew in detail, what they revealed to the world...and to let them know that they were being watched.
I think Op had a lot of this planned, as I said earlier. Gemma, the useless operative she was, served her purpose and was wacked (we presume). They followed Bree somehow to find her father. And she does not seem to upset that the Beast found the camera (goes back to my theory, by the way, that his parents are sleeper agents).
I think that after this round, we will see Oppy reveal her hand...and she has had all the aces the entire hand.
Just my thoughts.

Seems significant to me.

OMG... I noticed the forward text... but not the backward OpAphid. I'd say it's more than nothing. I think it's a very clear message.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking when I saw that. Op Aphid is showing us the "other side of the mirror". That is, what we have been seeing is just a reflection of what they have been WANTING us to see. Remember, things have not gone as planned...or have they?

If brother and Tachyon found out Gemma was working for the order so they killed her... why wouldn't they keep an eye on Lucy as well and try to kill her too? They knew Lucy was in it, too, didn't they? I think you should either ask why Gemma was worth killing but not Lucy, or wonder if OpAphid meant killing Gemma was all a part of her plan... |
