Why should we assume they had sex? I believe it was quite clear from Daniel that they kissed. For Bree, who had only kissed a guy once in her life before that, to suddenly jump into sex out of nowhere would be completely insane and quite unbelievable coming from a girl like her.
That said, I was not happy with the way the episode was named, utilizing the phrase "hooked up" which indeed can mean anything from kissing to sex. I dislike it in all it's ambiguous glory.

No, this is totally different though. If it happened to Bree, she would be an utterly unattached teenage girl with no real support system getting pregnant at 17.
Lane however is married, so the support system is built in, and since she is Rory's age is 21-22. That's not old, but it's certainly completely different than a naive teenage girl getting pregnant. Perhaps Lane's young looks makes it seem like more of a "teenage pregnancy scandal" than it really is? Also in a funny twist, the actress who plays lane is at least 30. Totally doesn't look it!

Yeah, definately don't think lg15 will go the preggo route. Well, at least I hope not. I get enough watching the baby I have at home! It's like why get mc donalds when you can stay home for steak? Wink

you know, i think i might ahve fueled this sex debate...
but I retract my very first sex comment about the video...

I don't think they had sex at all. Daniel very clearly states "It's not what you guys think."
The Creators know we're all pervs and gutterminded (well a lot of us are) and they know we will automatically assume that they had sex with the "Hooked up" title...
so the made Daniel say "it's not what your thinking"

Yeah, I definately think they didn't have sex.

Daniel would have said something more..but the "its not what you think" part makes it seriously sound like its not sex, it wasn't sex. They slept together, but it was just sleeping.

I think Daniel ment they hoocked 'mentally'. They finally got to have a good conversation, after all the argueing, understood eachother etc.

Well Lane admitted she was married before her first time, and that first time happened to be what got her pregnant.
That's more than we can say for our ex-virgin Rory! Meanwhile I guess Bree's status is technically a matter of debate, but there's no way she pulled a Rory (virgin to sex with a married man in 1 season flat!) The hook up was kissing and that's it. I'd definitely resign in protest if she and beast get it on.
