hi peeps!  i just joined to say i heard about katharine mcphee being on this lonelygirl15 thing today it sounds pretty cool! her new CD comes out later this month, i can't wait!!!!!
oh, and can i watch the old episodes too somewhere are they on bittorrent or something? this place is confusing. lata, dudez

If the Creators didn't tell us it was going to happen before hand, what are the chances that any of us would have even noticed that it was KM?
I'd just think random newbie actress, and start trying to hunt down her real name.
Telling us after the fact wouldn't do any of them any good or get them any publicity. |

i guess we'll have to see what she does to deicide whether this is good or not....
but i still stick by what i said. if she's there AS A FAN...then there needs to be more fans considered for cameos...

LOL! We all know she's not there as a fan, though. She's there as someone promoting an album and as someone who can bring new viewers to the show.
Maybe she really does watch the show, but it's a win-win situation for both her and LG15.
If they started putting on random fans, this whole place would implode. Everyone would be pissed because they didn't get picked and so-and-so did.
Personally, I think they should auction off a one time role on the show. Earn some money and give some random viewer a chance to meet the stars and be a part of LG15. |

This I agree with, totally. There are plenty of active fans right in the area...what's the harm in letting htem get involved? It's all in good fun, and frankly...for the Creators it would be cheap labor. Even if it weren't for a cameo...but as part of the ARG even, it would add a fun level of participation. |

I think the Creators are ripping off an old Scooby Doo technique. When Scooby Doo was doing poorly in the Saturday Morning cartoon ratings, the creators of that show started introducing celebrities who could entice more children to watch, such as Phyllis Diller, Abbot & Costello, and Sonny Bono. They introduced these celebrities as kind of guest mystery-solvers who played themselves on the show.
I'm thinking that Katherine McPhee is going to appear in her Nanny McPhee garb, with her signature one-tooth hanging out of her mouth, and be a guest mystery solver with Daniel, Bree, and Jonas. The thing is these celebrity guests really didn't do much other than provide comic relief and a reason for young children to want to tune in, and I suspect that's what McPhee's roll will be. She will be put forth as a celebrity guest who will help the mystery-solving teens, but the teens will solve the mystery on their own. It's possible that Jonas' house maid or caretaker of his mansion is using a film projector to fool the kids into thinking there is an "order" that is killing bree's dad and chasing them.
This isn't the first time they stole from Scooby Doo - remember whenever DanielBeaste makes food for Bree? Well that was taken from when Shaggy and Scooby always make food for each other.
It is shabby, hack writing and at this point to bring in Katherine McPhee is just adding to it and making it look even more hack.

THEY ARE NOT CASTING HER AS CASSIE OR TACH OR OpAphid OR ANY MAIN CHARACTER!!! THE PART WAS ALREADY WRITTTEN BEFORE HER PEOPLE CALLED LG15. A RANDOM GIRL IM SURE WHO PROBABLY WAS WRITTEN INTO THE EPISODE TO STOP ALL THE SPECULATION OF JONAS'S SEXUALITY BECAUSE OF YOUR OBSESSION WITH HIM BEING GAY.
SOME OF YOU ARE SO UNGRATEFUL.
ASK YOURSELVES HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE HAD TO SPEND TO BE INVOLVED IN THE LG15 WORLD OF ENTERTAINMENT?
