I've been wondering this for a while now. Is Bree short for something? Like Brianne? Bridget? Brianna? Or is it just Bree?

It's short for "Breeanna", spelled with two ee's instead of an i. In the early videos, Bree talked extensively about why she was named Breeanna, after her crazy old aunt, and wanted to dissociate herself from her aunt, so she goes by "Bree". She feels bad now though because her crazy aunt (who everyone else loved in her family) actually turned out to be very smart, well-traveled, and was once very beautiful although she's old and eccentric now, and once Bree had a heart-to-heart with her she felt a very close kinship with her. Unfortunately, by then, everyone was used to calling her "Bree" and nobody ever calls her "Breeanna" anymore.
